Well i use command bar to insert the object, then take the mesh from it

game:GetService("InsertService"):Insert(game:GetService("InsertService"):LoadAsset(*****))

Replace *s with the item's id

There is no easy possible way to do this, You can Scale and Change the Vertex Color. but mesh cannot be changed with a ID. it would be good if ROBLOX adds a Mesh Catalog.
