It consists of thirteen books centered around over twenty main characters.
It's an amazing series, probably one of the best fantasy book series's I've ever read. The first book starts with the main character living in a the two rivers, on the countryside.
and from there it gets worse, for "The Dark One" attacks on the world and he must stop him! But for the majority of the books he hasn't even been released unto the world, and yet he still destroys most of it and plagues the main character with horrid nightmares that at times can come true.
It's a lot like Harry Potter, but way more in-depth and has such greater characters, ((I think we're safe))it is so amazing it isn't even funny. |

| I'd recommend it to anyone who can find them at a library or wherever you get your books. |

| So is the Elenium and the Tamuli, by David Eddings. Not to mention the Belgariad, the Mallorean and the other prequels to that series. |

The Belgariad and Malloreon were two great book series's. but Wheel of Time hands down trumps any of Edding's.
Not saying those two were amazing reads, but Wheel of Time sucks you in and puts you on a journey, where you grow attached and care for each and every character greatly.
These books are up there with Tolkien, may even surpass him in my opinion. |

Wheel of Time took me a year to read the first 12 books and the prequel book (New Spring). Then it took me another year for my library to get A Memory of Light. I wonder what happens in the fourth age as well, now.
The Bannanachairs have all been revived from the dead! Yay! |
