There is something genuinely unnerving about his portrayal of Hannibal.
Anyone else agree?

I like Mads because he's less human than Anthony. In a good way.
Anthony Hopkins' interpretation, you kinda know his thoughts. You can imagine his thought process.
But Mads is exotic. Like, you have no idea what the hell he's done before because every night, when the lights go out, SOMETHING happens but you don't know what.
Then again, I haven't seen any of Hopkin's Hannibal. I've only seen Hannibal (The show), Manhunter, and the first two books. I didn't like how Hannibal played a very minor role in Manhunter, though I really liked Dolarhyde, he was perfect. But Hannibal wasn't even a cannibal and we never got to see the 'face off" scene at the end. You know which one.
Book 3 is pretty boring. I'm on hiatus to read Fellowship of the Ring, Speaker for the Dead, and finish up the "John & Dave" series.
John Dies at the End is seriously one of, if not the, greatest books I've read in my life.
It's just so good. |

Which book am I/ have I read that you appreciate?
I also vividly remember the tension building and building during the epilogue of Red Dragon. To the point I was going "oh man oh man oh man" |
