| So far, almost every stupid roleplay has gotten quite a large sum of willing roleplayers, yet, one that took me hours to finish never gets more than 5 players. |

I think the reason why "stupic" RPs get more RPers to join is because they're simple. The plotline is easy to follow and the RPers does not need to read too much and follow too many guidelines.
Complicated RPs, though thought out quite well, do not have that quality and often I find that I will be reluctant to join such RPs purely because I'm afraid of making a mistake. |

Maybe it's your attitude that scares off RPers.
"every stupid RP"
That's very condescending. They aren't stupid; they just aren't your cup of tea.
But, I understand your frustration. It seems that way sometimes. But, as the previous person mentioned, simplicity is sometimes more attractive than complexity.
I was considering making a -fairly- simple RP about variations of elves (wood-elves, drows, high elves, etc.) and the strained relations between each collective group that could ultimately lead to greater conflicts, but I need to find some willing RPers to help me flesh out the RP. Would you be interested? |

I'd love to, but every project that I work in seems to not attract roleplayers. See : Operation Takedown The island of Everloom |

I can't find either of those, but I have no doubts that they are well thought-out. And, you know, five roleplayers is not a bad number. Depending on the RP, sometimes it's good to have a smaller number of participants.
But anyway, collaborating can almost guarantee at least one RPer, if the collaborators are committed to joining. I can assure you, we can have some fun with this elf RP even if we only manage to get a few members. |

Alright. Shall we take this to a PP?
(I hope you don't mind me taking over your thread to start a collaboration Epic, haha). |

Mike, it's because most people who want to RP, usually want to put themselves in the place of their idolized character.
For example, some people want to be akin to Percy Jackson.
Perhance you should make a 'sign up' thread, before making any RPs, to ensure multiple people. |

It's Roblox. You're expecting top quality from a website filled with twelve year olds that are just about to grasp roleplaying. In the next two or three years, I'm pretty sure the majority of them will hold the exact attitude that you've shown here.
There are lots of other websites available for role-playing; you should check some out. |

| (I argree with Leo I think even though you put more thought into your roleplays EpicBoyMike, Its to complicated, Most people dont want to read for half an hour when they could be doing other stuff. Simple roleplays are easier to follow.) |

Quite right.
Gah, I suppose you could form a 'RP party', if you manage to meet enough people on other RPs. |

Other websites? Like what?
Why would anyone like to roleplay with me? I've invited several people one day to a party, but when I told them my reason they just left. |

Like minded people, like the guys who agreed on this very thread.
Of course, you would have to explain your concept to them first, some of us might be more into the sci-fi/apocalypse/whatever genre more than another one. |
