All you need is the HP Chromebook 11 ($200), a Verizon 4G Jetpack ($50), and the AGPtek Solar Power Charger ($20).
All these together are about $300 with tax.
The AGPtek Solar Power Charger will allow you to charge any USB-powered device with the sun, and the HP Chromebook 11 can charge via USB unlike other laptops.
The Verizon 4G Jetpack is a router in which can connect to 4G towers. Meaning, you can connect your Chromebook to the router via WiFi, and it will route you into the 4G towers (and if no 4G is available, it will route you into the 3G towers, which are more common).

"then you have to buy a verizon plan"
I could be mistaken, but I think a basic Verizon plan comes with the jetpack.
"if you don't have a home how can you afford just those things"
Quite easily. There's a huge difference between $300 and $150,000 (average price of a home*).

You need to pay a subscription to have internet. I don't know why you chose a chromebook, I am pretty sure not many would agree with that choice...

"You need to pay a subscription to have internet."
Again, I think the jetpacks come with a plan. And even if they don't, it doesn't matter. You have to pay for a plan for home internet anyways.
"I don't know why you chose a chromebook, I am pretty sure not many would agree with that choice..."
If you actually read my original post, you would know exactly why, ya dipweed. The HP Chromebook 11 can charge via miniUSB. Any other laptop would use one of the various laptop chargers.
Finding a solar panel in which can charge via laptop chargers is incredibly difficult for two reasons: because there are so many, they're harder to find one specific to your laptop, and they are also more expensive to produce.
In this case, a solar laptop charger for the HP Chromebook 11 will only run you $20. While a solar laptop charger for just about any other laptop will run you $100+. Plus, the HP Chromebook 11 is built with very cheap but functional hardware, creating an inexpensive laptop ($200) in which still runs very fast.
You can choose another laptop, sure, but you also have to be willing to pay much, much more.

@Wiki
Well, my solution has many more benefits over yours.
1. It's a laptop, so it gives you an internet experience you would have at your home. 2. 4G speeds are really fast, giving you speed much greater than what you would get at McDonalds. 3. Since it is 4G, you can get internet just about anywhere. You do not have to sit outside a McDonalds. You could be under a bridge on the outskirts of town, living off the mice in which crawl your way. |

"$150,000 (average price of a home*)."
you could easily get a trailer home for around $40,000

$40,000 is still a big difference from $300.
