If they're forced to only use preset menu chat, and cannot hear the players using free chat, there's not much interaction with the players and the guests, right?
So I propose they can use free chat, but if they swear/spam the chatbox, their free chat privilege is revoked, and they are forced back to menu chat
Sound good? Give me your ideas and criticism. |

I agree with your reasons, but we need to treat this from a different perspective.
Many guests are either trolls, or the majority of them, which is young players trying out the game before creating an account, sometimes with parental guidance.
If players under 13 years old may not chat, what is so different with these younger players testing the game?
I'm tempting you with my PhD. |

Why implement it when they can easily sign up for free?

@ty
Like I said, if they repeatedly cuss, their free-chat function would be revoked, and they are forced back to menu chat. |

| How about the can make there own sentences with the chat menu into a bar so there is no bad words. And when they are done combining the words they can click send or enter... |

@harl
That actually isn't a bad idea. So you're saying they can type their own words into the chat bar, but they cannot type bad words? That seems like a good idea. |
