| Anarchism is as far left as possible for what I know, and I don't like communism, but would if it worked. |

| On the Political Spectrum, Anarchism is left-Wing Libertarian. |

Which kind of Anarchism?
Left-wing anarchism is still authoritarianism, that is the collective's interests (that is if it has any) trump the rights and interests of the individual. |

But Libertarian is... *shoots self in mouth* Anarchism technically shouldn't be on the spectrum, as it is no government at all. |

| Anarchism is people being governed by smaller scale leaders, like a chief of a tribe, but not living like one. |

| If anarchy is absense of government, it is clearly on the far right of the spectrum. The political scale goes from total government to no government. |

| @Drill, it's Libertarian because it lacks government. Anarchism doesn't mean no rules, it means no rulers. You can still have rules that can be voted upon by the public. The issue with democracy is the fact that people have to participate, which is why Anarchism is somewhat flawed.... or is it that humanity that is flawed. Depends on how you look at it. |

If you were going to use this as a statement, then I genuinely don't think that any sincere leftist here does. I would if it worked, but its just too naive and also brutal. You know what Marx said about torture? It was good for making new mechanisms. Can't listen to somebody like that (plus according to his own logic him and Engels were exploiters). I think I'm definietely well into the left side of politics though ^_^.
Anarchy and collectivizing make up the left part of the political spectrum, also. Because conservatism is more about traditional values and patriotism, the far right would ideally be jingoism and an absolute and autocratic state without any outside interference? Which is fascism. But communism has a tendency to end up as fascism.. but leftism just.. can't be. That would be kind of like saying that circles are squares. |

Circles ARE squares, are they not? They should make a subforum for philosophy. |

| And drill, thats true. But take Mugabe. He started like Nelson Mandela but ended up.. like.. well, scareh :(! Its not that the people are always somewhat evil, it is just that we're naturally prone to be corrupted by power. |

| Since particles are circular, and particles are in absolutely everything, you could argue that a square is a circle. |

| Anarchism is left wing because they believe the removal of private ownership, in favor of common ownership. And they believe in a classless, stateless society which is the same as communism. |

Oh yeez, dem Mensheviks :D. Same here. There was a conversation that went something like this at the first congress of all-Russian soviets in June 1917:
Kerensky: You bolsheviks reccomend childish prescriptions- arrest, kill, destroy. Who are you- socialists or police of the old regime?
Lenin (to the chairman): You should call him to order.
So, you know.. |
