Okay, so exploits are ripping my game new holes again and I don't have the required tools to prevent it. Exploiters can now RobloxLock themselves and place guis within the CoreGuis. We NEED ACCESS to these. If the exploiters can access things that we can't, it's useless to prevent.
So, here's a suggestion. Like Archivable, we have a property called ReadOnly. This means that the client can't update this part. So if you try to change it, it won't allow this. Only the server can control it. This would be great to prevent exploits, keep stats safe from Cheat Engine and would possibly help with networking because it doesn't need to listen for updates about it. (I doubt that's how you coded networking tho)
So this property would REALLY help with exploits. It's annoying how someone can exploit a script into their coregui that deletes whatever they click. They then delete the baseplate and that ruins the game for everyone. So if there was read only, exploiters couldn't screw up the map that was intended to be server controlled.
Same works for leaderstats. You would have the server manage them. Most my games run on requests from localscripts to serverscripts already to prevent exploits so this would just make the feature better.
So please consider this, it'd be amazing in terms of exploit prevention. |

| This thread was intended for the dev forums but I wanted support here...sorry for any suggestive terms. The "ripping my game new holes again" means deleting parts..not something else. |

| They can also freeze values like an energy bar and use unlimited energy in games that require it. I think a better system for anti hacks is needed. |

| Its cause a level 7 trainer was leaked recently, roblox hasnt patched it yet which is funny because me and a friend submitted it a week ago... |

Support. However, this will be hard to prevent, as different programs used by different exploiters use different injection codes, and also different nodes to set the command. Plus, the Programs are constantly updated, either by the developer or by the exploiter himself (Firsthand configuring). New programs also mean endless catching up.

I think this would be a great idea, but then how can you prevent the ReadOnly from being exploited so it wouldn't become a ReadOnly?

| Lets be honest here.Even if we do have a better anti hack script What different does it make?Nothing.They will just find another way to hack.How many times did Hackers Succeeded?More then 500 |

No support. Imagine the anti-hack features as Temple Run. This is like adding a log. The first time, they'll run into it and fail as the monkeys eat them. But the next time, they'll remember to jump the log (Aka, change the ReadOnly property to false). Then they reach the end, and they completely exploit the whole thing.
