I believe we have the right to end our lives if we want to
I don't believe in heaven or hell so the afterlife is not an issue |

well from a Christian standpoint, it's breaking the one of the Commandments But on another hand it was probably for a reason. So I'd assume either hell or "purgatory"
WHAT'S UP WITH THAT? |

@tree and @mikey,
I am a christian, but it never says that you will go to hell for commiting suicide. I believe that it's sad, but that you won't automatically go to hell. |

if someone wants to end their life, let them
and regarding the heaven/hell part
i don't believe in any of those so it's no consolation
but here's a question if you do believe in those
if you assist in someone's suicide do you go to hell |

| People who do it are stupid and don't deserve sympathy because it was their choice and no one else's. |

| I think it's a bit selfish... I mean, I understand people feeling stuck, or think there's no way out of a situation, but there are also people who love that person who can be devastated to lose them. |

| Well in some cases, I would commit suicide. Like if you're in a battle, and you know you're going to die or if you're extremely old then ya I would end my life, but for reasons like having no friends and stuff I wouldn't. It just depends. |

@legoseed
some people have chronic depression and can't really control their emotions but in some situations it can be selfish |

Brief story:
Last week in Forsyth County two parents let their 14 year old son and 20 year old daughter stay home by themselves for a few days. The boy is the star football player and is very popular. His friends wanted to throw a party at his house. So they did. They were drinking and smoking. The police arrived and the boy hid and they never find him. The next morning the girl found him, dead, he killed himself because he knew he would go to jail and that everyone would hate him, he was scared.
It's sad, but in cases like that I probably would commit suicide. |
