Hi Midmyst.
Yes, this happens.
My parents are Democrats, but don't support LGBT rights. |

A lot of debates happen in my family, from religion or even feminism.

| No, my family knows less about politics than they know about 6th grade math (which is very little). |

My family and I mostly agree on a lot regarding politics besides one thing:
Islam.
I'm pro-Islam and everyone else thinks they're evil terrorists who want to take over the world. But, that's most Australian households for you. |

Pitt, I believe that people who worship Islam should be accepted just like everyone else. If Muslim women want to wear a Burqa or a Hijab, they have every right to. Just like girls who decide to wear basically nothing when hitting the clubs every night.
And Numidian, I'm not actually white.

@numi
There isn't jewish propaganda. The whole thing is just a stereotypical myth. |

That doesn't only apply to Islam, that is anyone. I just see it as a security threat. |

Ruby, there are a few passages that suggest something like a burqa, but there are lots of times when a woman must go unveiled like in front of her husbands or other Muslim women.
But you should keep unveiled what would ordinarilly appear, so with the chador or a full face veil some people probably got the wrong idea xx |

| My family is pretty liberal and left-wing, besides the fact that my parents hate LGBT. I'm two of those... so, I'm just not going to come out until I'm living on my own. |

My family is Japanese, so my mom and dad are both kinda centre-right on the Japanese system. The weird thing is that it translates to them being pretty liberal by American standards (they voted Obama, are pro-Universal Health Care, pro-LGBTQIA rights, etc.)
I lean centre-left socially and center fiscally (American scale), but we're all pretty progressive.
In conclusion, no, not really. |

| Not really. My grand parents are big fans of Fox News, and last year(if I'm not mistaken) for Christmas, I got Killing Lincoln, by Bill O'Reily, and for my Birthday, I got Killing Kennedy by the same author(which shows how much they like the channel), though they really don't argue about it often, though there used to be some division, and still is, over how my mom is liberal, they're conservatives, and I don't think Islam is evil. |
