like the cylinder piston pushy downy thing I have a used trumpet and it was apparently already broken when I bought it with a tiny crack but I was messing around and snapped it |

You may be able to have it repaired at your local instrument repair shop. I have gotten several large dents I got from marching band. Stupid color guard always whacking instruments with rifles and flags. >.> |

But yeah... Page's music has repaired my horns before. If you have one near you you might want to send it in. Or talk to your director about what to do. He will know, of course.
I have never heard of a valve snapping in half though. Worst thing I've seen was the valve casing smashed together because a friend of mine slipped walking up he stairs and landed on his trumpet. |

Ask your director of where you could get it repaired.
Or buy a new trumpet. If you have 2000 dollars laying around I'd suggest a Xeno. That's what I use and it is an amazing horn. |
