You are an adventurer. You had heard that a strange portal has opened in a city inside your region and that the emperor is willing to pay people a large amount of money for people to go inside and investigate. The rest of your story is up to you. You can choose one of the following: Mage: mages can use spells and the best mages are very wise. Warrior: warriors are very strong and can take a beating. They usually wear heavy armour. Thief: thieves are sneaky and master of manipulation, they rarely buy the equipment they need and have no care for laws Paladin: a lot like warriors, they also have the ability to heal and can take much more damage from evil but less from good people (most enemies will be neither though) they can be either tanks or fighters. Get bonuses from religion Bard: excellent at persuasion and are allowed pretty much anywhere as people want bards to help them forget about all the crimes and violence. They are quite smart too Necromancer: can raise the dead, they are often frowned upon by the civilised people in the cities. Priest: excellent healers and supports, they are very religious and like bards are wanted in cities. They get bonuses from their religion.
Religious bonuses God of sun: everyone's bonus: N/A. Paladin bonus: a 10% bonus health. Priest bonus: +10%(priest's health) when healing God of chaos everyone's bonus: a spell that drives people insane (harder to work on certain people) priests and paladins can't worship him God of lightning: everyone bonus: N/A. Paladin bonus: a spell that does 2-20 damage. Priest: a spell that gives any ally 10 resistance to melee damage (10 damage took off their attack) God of knowledge: everyone's bonus: +5 intelligence, bards get +10
Races: Dwarves: a strong brave race about 3 feet tall. They are decent warriors that have a strange culture, the longer the beard the more respectable you are. High elves: a race that are very intelligent, the smarter some one is the better they are treated they are good mages Dark elves: they are like high elves but prefer to worship the god of chaos and death. The are good necromancers Elves: good with a bow and make great thieves Orc: amazing tanks, orcs are the most honorable fighters there are Humans: they are a jack of all trades, they are the most common race
Rules: Normal rp rules I decide if what you do works. As I am using logic and dice for this roleplay. For example if I think something you do is unlikely I will roll a 20 sided dice and it will have to land on 18 or higher to work. You will get bonuses depending on what skill you are using, if you are horrible you might get numbers took off. If it lands on 1 I roll again and something bad will happen. If it is 1 again you will die unless I'm feeling kind, if it lands on 20 then it will nothing worse than tripping
Advantages and disadvantages (they have to be equal. You can skip this) Advantages: Gifted=+10 intelligence, costs 3 points Feels no pain=parry more hits, costs 3 points Hawk eye= more accurate, costs 2 points Fast legs:run fast 1point
Disadvantages Dumb= -10 intelligence, gives 3 points Weak= parrys less hits, gives 3 points Inaccurate= less accurate gives 2 points Slow= slow gives 1 point

You have to put these numbers into the skills below Strength = pretty obvious what it does Dexterity = this affects you sneaking stealing use of bow and so on you get a +5 bonus to this skill so what ever number of the above you pick you add 5 onto it Toughness = how much you can parry, you get + 15 to this skill Intelligence = you will know what this means. You get - 10 to this skill Wisdom = needed for spells Speech = art of persuasion, lying and so on
You have a bow with 50 arrows in it (yes I will be keeping count), a knife and leather armour. You are good with bow so you get +5 to hit and + 2 to damage. Once you are done with skills I will tell you your health and speed, |

You can see the skills from one my last posts. You get -10 to toughness, +10 to intelligence and +15 to dexterity (if you wanted you could have 20 as your dexterity and end up with 35 which would make you an incredible theif) you have 2 daggers and some throwing knives |

Alright so with bonuses
Strength = 12 Dexterity = 30 Toughness = 1 (couldn't go any lower) Intelligence = 15 Wisdom = 5 Speech = 25 (forgot to mention that bonus for being a theif)
This means you rolls will be Strength= +0 Dexterity = +8 Toughness = -4 Intelligence = +2 Wisdom = -2 Speech = +6
And because of your skills you will have some high skill rolls which i will work out when i need them so you can start when you like by roleplaying your character entering the city. The city is nicely built with mostly rich people, the castle is visible when you enter |

| (Intelligence in how much knowledge you have, so what you know about races, history, magic and sometimes religion. Wisdom is more about people so its good for checking when somebody is lying reading the body language, common sense and stuff like that. Wisdom also help with magic and magic defence. You guys can start when ever you want.) |

| (Alright and I think we will need a fighter of some sort as you guys will be hurt so I will just have you meet one later in the game. You all enter the castle at the same time, the castle is very well decorated and there are many paintings and statues inside, the throne has a human in extremely valuble armour with a high elven wizard and a Orc soldier on his left and another Orc soldier on his right. The king says to you "ahh, I guess you are here for portal" |
