This is Wifiking42 and Z0rr0w's RP, All I did was fix it so it would post.
1695, piracy is at its peak. These guilt-ridden pirates had all started as privateers for the English to work against the Spanish. The English's reasoning was that anything that hurt the Spanish helped them. Spain had gold, England would take the gold, helping England and hurting Spain. The first privateer was Sir Francis Drake, known as a hero to England, and a pirate to the Spanish. Drake plundered about twenty-million US dollars in gold, which led to privateering becoming a large career, with people rushing to make their fortune.
However, when England made peace with Spain, the privateers had nowhere else to turn besides piracy. And thus, the Golden Age of Piracy began, with pirates coming from everywhere to plunder and loot trade-ships. Ignore rule four if you got to here. Of course, it was very rare that pirates retired. Most of them were either hanged after being arrested, or killed whilst pirating. Will you be one of the few exceptions, and take home everything you've stolen at the end of your pirate career? Or you could be a member of a country's navy and have a lower chance of becoming dead. You can probably even retire!
This is a free-roam RP. You give the choice, I give the outcome.
The RP is split into swashbuckling-combat and sea-combat. Swashbuckling-combat consists of pistols, rifles, and blades, while sea-combat consists of cannons and rams. You can also fire grappling hooks at your enemy during sea-combat if the enemy sails are torn and broken. This will transition you into swashbuckling-combat, giving you more skill points, more ship points, and more gold. You're also more likely to get killed, however.
You may choose to start from a few different ranks in your naval adventures.
Convict: Filthy guilt-ridden criminal. You were arrested for some sort of crime and are held in the brig of a navy ship, along with a few other prisoners and slaves. The navy ship is attacked by pirates, and you are freed in exchange for your loyalty to the pirate captain. Hell, you may even rise up the ranks and have your own ship. If you end up becoming a Captain, you will receive a large skill-point bonus for living out the entirety of a pirate's career.
Lieutenant: Work your way into the high ranks of your ship and eventually gain your own ship. But because you are so fresh and new, there will be a trial to prove your worth among the crew. You will receive a skill point bonus for living out your experiences as a lieutenant.
(Must attend Trial of the Captain within your story.)
Captain: Cut to the main course and have your very own ship and crew to begin with. Because of your experience in the ship, you are granted three points for ship points and ten crew points. You're also the only person, besides the Naval Officer, who gets ship points to upgrade the ship, considering it is your ship, after all.)
Naval Soldier: The enforcers of the sea. You are responsible for the fight against piracy and other countries that dare to harm your motherland! You may fight for England, Spain, Netherlands, Portugal, or France. Because of scheduled, daily training, you are granted +10 in a chosen skill.
Naval Officer: The navy-equivalent of the pirate Captain. Take command of a royal navy and defeat those filthy pirates! You will probably end up retiring to a wonderful and luxurious life, and then lie down on your bed constructed from the tears of the less fortunate, thinking of your old life at sea. However, as a Naval Officer, you get +10 Discipline for your crew.
Crew:
If you're a Captain or Naval Officer, you'll need a crew to manage your ship. You can recruit crew members by buying them at your local bar, or finding them as slaves in enemy ships. If you find them as slaves, you will have to board the enemy ship to save them. Crew members recruited this way will be more loyal to you and will not require payment. However, they may not be as experienced as buying crew members from a tavern. Every crew member you buy will take 10 gold as payment from every other ship you plunder.
Discipline and Happiness:
This is only really important if you're a Naval Officer or Captain.
Your crew must be disciplined and happy in order to control your ship with the utmost efficiency.
Discipline affects how quickly and how well your crew can perform a task, such as firing cannons or hoisting the sails. You can gain discipline through ship points and the leadership stat.
Happiness affects the likelihood of your crew starting a mutiny and trying to overthrow you. It also affects things that could plague your crew, such as homesickness, anxiety, seasickness, and the like.
Mutiny:
If the worst is to come and your crew has planned a mutiny, then I will roll a die to see if you can hold back the rebellion or not. The chances of you winning and taking back control is 50-50. If you lose then I will roll a die again to see if the crew lets you live or die. Again, 50-50. A mutiny will most likely happen when your crew's Happiness and/or Discipline is below 20.

Thank you soard! I'm sticking to my word. You can have admin.
Nieol's Character Alright. I think I got it all!
Name: William A. Johnson
Age: 17. If it ain't okay, I'll just bump it up.
Gender: Male
Faction (Pirates or a country): Pirate.
Rank: Convict.
Ship Type (If Captain or Naval Officer): N/A
Ship Name (If Captain or Naval Officer): N/A
Location: Somewhere off the coast of Spain.
Appearance: William has an inargueably shifty look about him. He has a smile that makes one think you can't trust him. (Referencing to his low Charisma.) He stands at about 5'7. He is rather lean, lacking large muscles. This may be attributed to his recent, involuntary fasting. He weighs only 136 pounds. He has greasy black hair that is turning into dreadlocks. He has no facial hair, having little luck growing anything at all. He has a nose that looks like it may have been broken once or twice previously, a bit crooked. His skin is slightly sun darkened from his recent time from forced labor on the navy boat.
Clothing: Torn, smelly clothing. Kinda gray-ish from fading. Brown trousers that are ugly and most of all smelly. He has old, worn brown boots that are in serious need of either a cleaning or a fixing.
Bio (not optional. 3 sentences at least) Well, he and a group of buddies were complete nimrods. To put it simply, they dared eachother to do stupid things over the course of their lives. As stuff went on, it got more serious and more dangerous. One day, it went too far. William was dared to steal from a man who looked like a pirate. Unlucky of course, he was actually a navy officer and William was caught. The guards offered to cut William's hands off, but the officer decided to 'Let William pay off his debts' as a slave. He spent a couple of months down there, no one to help him, his friends abandoned him. But luck may have shined down on he the day he was rescused by a pirate, this one offering a life worth living, one out of slavery and straight into that of being a pirate himself!
Others: Black beard!

Gender: M.
Faction (Pirates or a country): Pirate.
Rank: Convict.
Location: Somewhere of the coast of Spain. (Nieol and I talked. Same ship.)

On his left hand, he is missing his ring finger, along with a scar running from his ear and all the way to his chin, running on his jawline.

Bio (not optional. 3 sentences at least.) Cornethus Teach had always been a pirate, having served as the cabin boy on his fathers boat. He was imprisoned when he was 23, and was sold from slaver to slaver until the slave ship he was on was ambushed by pirates when he was 27. He now serves as one of the ships riflemen, with his dead(ish) aim.

Character Sheet:
Name: Greta Decker
Age: 22
Gender: Female
Faction (Pirates or a country): Pirates
Rank: Lieutenant
Location: Currently on board a ship sailing to the Carribeans.
Appearance: Greta has blonde hair that naturally goes into big curls, and sunkissed skin from being outside so often, so her skin is a nice shade of tan, with a nice beauty mark right next to the right side of her lips. She has gray eyes, with signs of icy blue in them, making them stand out nicely enough, and high cheekbones, with softly colored pink lips.
Clothing: She commonly wears a white swordswoman's shirt, with a dark green corset. She has a slightly gypsie- look, with a big, deep purple skirt that goes down to her boots in the front, and her ankles in the back. Underneath, she has stretchy, yet tight black pants, tucking into knee-high leather boots, much more convenient for sword fighting.
Bio: Greta started out an innocent, wealthy raised girl, but she was good, good friends with a trouble maker since age 8. When they where around 18, he decided his destiny was to be a pirate, and urged Greta to join him so they could be together. Naive, young, in love children. They started as stow aways on a ship, until being captured. They where separated, and Henry was killed for trying to steal money from the crew to get back home. They pitied Greta, and gave her a position on the ship, but half don't trust her so far, and half are to naive to see that the once innocent, kind young girl had turned into a fierce, vengeful woman.

Name: Referred to as Captain by his crew, called The Devil by everyone else.
Age: Probably in his 30's
Gender: Male
Faction (Pirates or a country): Pirates
Rank: Captain (willing to take convicts as crew members if they want).
Ship Type (If Captain or Naval Officer): Galleon
Ship Name (If Captain or Naval Officer): The Victorious
Location: Somewhere near Spain, en route to the Caribbean.
Appearance: The Devil has an extremely above average build, looking larger and buffer than most everyone. He absolutely towers above the average person, often looking down at people. What you can see of his skin is a tan colour, and his eyes are dark brown. He has brown, short hair, looking rather unkept and uncombed.
Clothing: The Devil's most obvious piece of clothing is his mask. The mask covers his entire face and has a red line running across the center of it. The mask is plain black on the left side of the line, and plain white on the right side. There are no human-like facial features on the mask, besides the nose and eyeholes. Besides those, the mask is completely plain. He wears a long, black coat, with various rips and tears in it that show signs of weathering. He wears black pants, a slightly lighter colour than his coat, that are extremely loose, allowing him to move easily and keep himself from getting too hot. His shirt is also loose-fitting. The shirt is very plain, and a dark grey colour. His cuffed boots have a few rips and signs of weathering in it, and are a black colour, matching the rest of his dark attire. On his left hip is a katana, a rather strange weapon for a pirate. The katana has a black hilt with "悪魔" written in red on it. The blade is sharp and clean, made out of the finest steel. The scabbard for the katana is red, contrasting the rest of his clothing, which is mostly blacks and greys. On his lower back is a pair of flintlock pistols, and two pairs of pistols are kept on both sides of his torso, giving him six shots at the ready at all times. Everything he needs to load his flintlocks are kept in his coat.
Bio (not optional. 3 sentences at least): "Hell has no fury like that man, if he even is a man." -Blackbeard, referring to The Devil.
The Devil is considered by all who know him to be the most vicious and cruel pirate, often torturing surviving enemies of boarding action. Few things are actually known about The Devil. His name and race remain a mystery to everyone, but it's known by his crew that he came from a prison after being caught with a noble's beautiful daughter. He was put in the brig of a ship and left there to die with everybody else in there.
This ship became his home, as he was stuck there for years.Eventually, one of the crew members of the ship made a mistake, allowing The Devil to escape, free all the other prisoners, and overthrow the ship's captain. The ship became The Victorious; the sails were painted black, with a Jolly Roger symbol in the middle of the main sail. The Devil took to a life of piracy, donning his signature mask beforehand in order to conceal his identity so he could retire to peace whenever he wanted to, without having his face known to all.
The Devil plundered, stole, and killed to begin stacking up his fortune so he can eventually retire. Although The Devil is cruel, he's extremely charismatic with his crew (and all those beautiful women). He refuses to actually hire a crew, instead freeing slaves and prisoners and recruiting them to join his crew. He probably does this because he feels paid ship-hands aren't as loyal as people who owe their life to him.
It's believed by most that The Devil's success comes from his genius mind. Every single one of his pirate strokes of strategy are well thought out, brutal, and swift, leaving barely any time for the enemy to retaliate.
