Is anyone else having problems with the SurfaceGuis Canvus Size when it isnt set to the defualt of 800,600 thinking that frames, textlabels, etc are outside the rendering boundries and dont render them even though it should?
Is this a Roblox problem or something I'm doing wrong¿? |

Yeah, sometimes if you place an instance outside of a frame and off the brick it doesn't render, it's also very glitchy at the edges.
It takes a little fine-tuning.

Well the problem I have currently is that I have the CanvasSize set to 800,800
Inside that is a Frame thats Size 1,0,1,0 (Covers the full surface)
Again inside is another Frame (Block) with Size 0,50,0,70
Inside the Block is multiple different ImageLabels and Frames All spread across the Block but never outside it
Now when the Block is positioned anywhere from 0,0,0,0 to 0,~,0,625 (~ for some reason can go as high as 1000 which is larger than then CanvasSize and should not render)
Now if the Blocks Position is lowered to lets say 0,0,0,640 then the objects inside Block stop being rendered but only the ones that have passed that render line the ones above (+15 from the bottom) are still rendered
Block is still within the blocks SurfaceArea and yet it has problems
I'm not sure if thats explained the best but there you go. |

You mean if it got too close to the bottom it didn't render? Yeah, making a footnote on the bottom of a surface GUI I made (check it out: )did that.
Use scale, not offset mate. It helps. Scale for surface GUIs will always be the same and can be made square or whatever, it doesn't matter on screen resolution.
