Basically it's an Instance, which would have all the properties of a Camera, but would also have a "Face", and "Size" property. You can attach it to a part, and on the face of the part specified by the "Face" property, it would display what the PortalCamera sees. The "Size" property could be used to the extent of how many studs x, and y the PortalCamera can view.
Maybe a GuiPortalCamera as well? for ScreenGuis?

Not that I'm aware, at least not without raycasting, and projecting colors on many instances. Imagine taking a decal, and instead of displaying a texture/image, it displays what the Camera views.

that's what everyone says for every other suggestion... think about all the things roblox has done, they already made a SurfaceGui, why not a CameraSurface? Everyone probably said that GUI's on bricks would be too laggy... works fine for me, if you can view things with the camera on screen... it wouldn't hurt to resize it down and put it on a decal type thing?... There is no lag that i can think of happening for this... anything is possible, and we all know you would agree on this, but since you guys think its going to be laggy... your obviously going to disagree ALTHOUGH you want to agree...
The lag isnt your problem anyway, thats roblox's job to fix (cause we cant do anything about it), all you should care about is the feature. |

GuiCamera maybe? then it can be used with ScreenGui, and SurfaceGui?

After re-reading it a couple of times, I think that two new objects would be needed:
SurfaceCamera for input, CameraGui for output. |
