Since you have enable/disable comments, why not add enable/disable likes?
Pro's: -It will prevent alt. disliker's. -It will prevent people that don't like you (without caring about the game) to dislike. -It will keep gameplay less biased towards what the user is expecting from the likes
Con's: -Many people will remove it if they have too many dislikes. -It will make some games appear on the front page even if it's not that good.
-Con 1 Solution: if there are at least 5 dislikes per like, you can not disable it. -Con 2 Solution: don't display these games as frequently. |

| Good suggestion. I hope the staff looks at this. |

Another pro: -For beta-testing places (places not done) that you don't want people to just dislike because of some problem. |

| No support. Like/dislike should be on all places, and no exceptions. |

| Then they should base liking and disliking off IP, account, account age, time played, so idiots can't just go on alt. accounts and dislike it for the hell of it |

A)Roblox should either add an option to enable and disable liking. or B)Make likes (and dislikes) check whether: account is valid, account age is more than 10 days, and the IP of the user has been stored and checked so they can not like (or dislike) the same place, with different accounts) per day |

I recall roblox saying the thumb bar was not optional and never will be for whatever reason.
Lemme find it... |

http://blog.roblox.com/2013/06/thumbs-up-to-game-ratings/
"This is not an optional feature for game creators — it is standard across the board — and we will be moderating ratings. For example, if we notice a mass down-vote on a particular place, we’ll investigate the activity to make sure it’s not malicious in nature."
Got it.
No means no, unfortunately. |

| Okay, than they should at least do option B... since they won't investigate it... |

| What's the point of a rating system if not all places can be rated |

For the con solution 1, what if you disable liking/disliking before anyone has a chance to dislike?
