@boost
yeah only one monitor
also, how good is "just fine"
my friend has a similar setup (with an i7-4770k and a gtx 770) on similar resolution, and he plays bf4 ultra quality aa x4 at like 50+ fps |

| well it depends on the map, like on some maps i run at about 90+ fps on ultra and a few such as shanghai the fps drops if i look at the building from far away. |

i don't know, stupid people do exist. oh and a thing to keep in mind is that resolution changes nothing performance wise, just set any game to your screen resolution and that's it, it won't have more fps if you put it at like 800x640 from 1920x1080, just screen lag and stutter because that isn't your screen resolution. now monitor refresh rate, that's a thing. |

i7 has nothing over i5 (virtually)
i5, is cheaper with the same value in terms of gaming (ex i5 3570k and the i7 4770k or whatever; one just costs more than the other like 100 more)
the i7 just has hyperthreading - not useful for gaming
just because it has a bigger number doesnt mean its better also dont forget the new intel processors i think are coming out in june 2014 so you may want to hold out (if you want something "newer") |

| Amd would probably be better price wise. Some are just as fast as a i5 and a i7. I play all my games on a i5 just fine. |

| Yan, I don't think BF4 supports 8 threads, so a i7 would make no difference. |

And Yan, about the screen resolution. You are mistaken, you will have more fps, as your computer will render less. |
