I know a lot of you won't care for this, or even dare to read it. But it's a story I just built up. My second story I've ever written, and I'm hoping you all like it. Since Chapter 1 is pretty long, I've shorted this to 3 chapters.
Chapter 4-6 will be out soon once this is done.
btw if I said "Brineston" it's cause I was typing fast. Brinston is what I meant. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ CHAPTER 1 ]: Kallaz -
I was in my bedroom, clutching my sheets tightly. I looked to my left at my alarm clock, it was 2:40PM, and I didn't feel like getting up. I didn't get any sleep; I woke up screaming in the middle of the night, and wasn't able to go back to sleep. I keep getting a dream that I'm fighting the Kallaz Order, and I was captured and terrorized. As I looked at the clock, I heard a ringing noise. It was time. I groaned, and got up. As I slipped on my boots, and put on my trenchcoat and pants. "Hmm, I guess the black uniform makes sense. Blends in with everything else at the BlackWater Infantry's base." I walked out of my cabin, and started jogging down the trail.
I see another person in a uniform, and I noticed he was a part of Royal Blood as well. I walked up to him, noticing his scars, and bruises. In astonishment, I halted myself. I dared not to speak to him, but he turned his head and looked at me strangely. "What are you staring at?" I backed down, and starting walking backwards. I fell, and hit the ground hard. The grass touched my head, it was as soft as a pillow. I laid there longer, and then noticed the soldier was still observing me. I got up, and started walking down the trail again. "Wait," he said. I turned back, "My name is Askune." He grinned, and started running off into the mist. I tried catching up, but didn't do so well. I slowed down, and resumed jogging.
I got to Brinston III, and I saw someone walking up to me. "What are you doing there slobber mouth?" I looked at him in disbelief, and then I realized his rank. "Are you just going to stand there?" I opened my mouth to reply, but nothing came out. "Get on the wall, patrolling is needed. The Kallaz order could strike any second!" He wore a black uniform like mine, with a gas mask, and with a white top hat. "Are you denying the order of a Royal Guardian?" I looked at him, spotted his name tag, "McSpoofy." I started, "I-" "Sir..." he interrupted. "Sir, sorry sir. I'll head to the wall as you ordered." His face turned into a snarl, and walked away. As I walked up the slate, I noticed the sky. How it was darkening all of a sudden. "They're coming!" I heard a voice, "They're coming!" Then it went silent, and we all I could see was soldier by soldier coming out of the mist.
"STATIONS!" Royal Guardian McSpoofy yelled. All I could see where soldiers scrambling to their positions. "Hey you!" I looked, and saw Askune. His scars and bruises matched the darkness. He came at me with a sword, "Wha-what!" I screamed, and prepared for my death. "Duck!" He yelled. I reacted fast and ducked, I felt blood drip down my neck. I waited for the pain to start, but I realized I wasn't stabbed. I looked up, and saw a Kallaz soldier bleeding. As I looked at him, he fell to the ground. "Thanks." I looked over to Askune, but he was gone. I looked around, but I couldn't find him insight.
I got up, and took my sword. I started defending my position. As I looked over the fort, I saw countless Kallaz soldiers swarming to the fort. I gasped, but knew what I must do. Ship after ship, landing on the grassy land, more troops kept coming out and swarming the field. I could see our frontlines being annihilated. "You might want to pay attention comrade, sitting there looking at them won't do anything." I looked up, "Hi," I said, "My name is GilbertTheMelon, I hope to see you later. Good luck, and don't die. Heh." He grinned, "Thanks for the advice." I sprinted into battle, I saw some Kallaz stacking up, climbing on each other into the base. I clutched my sword, and squatted. A soldier flew up into the air, and landed directly on my sword. I gasped, and saw his body on my blade. This was overwhelming for me, and the blood was crawling all over the sword. I dropped it, and dropped to my knees. I couldn't believe what I just witnessed, I swallowed hard. I knew I couldn't give up, so I grabbed my sword and started resuming my defense post.
I jumped down, landed on the ground hard. My leg is pain, but I had to push through it. I stood up, and a enemy saw me. "Guys, look!" I rushed toward them, taking out two by surprise. Blood splashed onto my face, and all over the ground. One jabbed his sword at me, I quickly dodged it. He played offense, and I had to play defense. His dark uniform blended in with the dark mist, all over the place. I couldn't see, or tell where he was. I then saw his golden blonde hair, so I dropped down and jabbed. I missed, but felt an incredible, pain in my leg. I looked over scared, and saw a dagger in my ankle. I fell to the ground, and saw a man looking over me. His sword snapped on his back, grabbed it and took it out. "This is the end of you," he said. I tried grabbing my sword, but I fell over. I hit the ground, the dirt snuck into my injury. The pain hurt, and all I could watch was the sword about to crash through my skull. I shut my eyes, and waited, and waited. I looked up, and nothing was there. He was gone, all gone. I didn't understand. I attempted getting up, but fell down. I kept trying, but eventually gave up. I was losing blood rapidly, and then my eyes shut....
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ CHAPTER 2 ]: Dignitary
It was hours later, but my eyes opened. I saw the light shining on my eyes, I squinted because my eyes were still tired. I tried moving, but I felt an enormous pain in my leg. "Oh my, I totally forgot.." The door opened, and a uniformed man walked in. "'Ello mate, I'm Aohi." I looked at him, "Hola, you're the friendliest person I've met so far." Aohi smiles, and nods. "I'm Royal Council Aohi, and I just wanted you to know you'll be resuming your duties soon. You must get tons of rest in order to perform your duties again." I looked at him, and I found the courage to ask, "How did the rest of the fight go?" He looked down in disbelief. "Brinston III was damaged heavily, we were able to defend them off; but many soldiers were lost. You were very luck to be alive"
I looked at him, then at the door, "I must be resuming my duties now!" I started to get up, no matter the pain in my leg; I fought through it. As my body pushed itself forward, I got up and started limping toward the door. "You must rest I say, if you keep moving you'll break the weave!" I ignored him, and kept moving. Aohi finally took action, and helped me. He got me outside of my room, and all I could see were a bunch of doctors and nurses; several scattered in each room, and office. I glanced over, and I saw a scarred man with bruises. I saw a wound in his stomach. This emotion in my brain felt a bit sad for him, because he was my hero. He saved me, that person was Askune.
As Aohi helped me to the outside of the hospital, I started up the trail. "Thanks for all your help Aohi - I mean sir." He looked at me and grinned, "You can call me Aohi!" I laughed, and started up, "I'll see you in the battlefield soon!" I nodded, and resumed my adventure. I watched the sky, and I saw something falling from the sky. It looked white, and it hit my nose. It was cold, freezing in a matter of fact. "Snow!" I said, gasping. It barely stones here, and it was amazing just to witness it. I watched it fall, and hit the bushes, grass, and trees. The sight was very beautiful. I kept walking even though I wanted to stay and watch the snow fall.
I finally reached Brinston III, and Aohi was right. It was destroyed. Half of the base was blown to bits, and blood was stained all over the grass. I just stood there, and gasped. I rushed in, and yet still soldiers were being put to the hospitals. I found McSpoofy. "Sir," I said, he turned around. His face turned into a snarl, "What you need?" "I'm back from the hospital sir, and ready to perform my duties." Something told me he had a bit more respect for me, because he had a slight smile on his face. I tried to smile back, but turned around and began to walk. "Wait," I turned around, "Good job performing your duties; the Dignitary will surely be proud to see you and the others that have recovered." I bowed in honor, "Shall I help build or repair the Brineston III sir?" He shook his head, "Just get ready to rally in two hours, we'll be countering on BlackWater Infantry.
I finally got to my cabin, and went into bed. I was so sleepy, even when I got that other sleep from before. I started to doze off, when I heard a "CRASH." Startled, my body reacted by pushing up. I got up, and by the time I reached the handle, the door opened itself. A man opened it, and I knew exactly who it was. The man who made me enlist, and inspired me. I bowed in great honor, it was Dignitary Rezdonox. "Hello soldier," he said, "I wanted to see all soldiers who were wounded to check if they were alright." I couldn't speak, it was the upmost honor that I was even standing in front of him. "I would like to thank you for the duties, and for your fighting abilities. They've helped us defend our homeland, and we're starting to construct it once again. Brinston III will be up in no time." He bowed, back to me. I grinned, "Thank you, sir." I managed to spit out. He turned and said, "It's me who should thank you."
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ [ CHAPTER 3 ]: Rallying -
I woke up, my brown eyes opened up. I looked at the clock, and I was late for the rally! I got dressed into the uniform quickly, and started rushing out the door. I started running fast, and then remembered my leg. I slowed down, jogging. As I jogged, I noticed the snow. It was all over the ground, it was one of the most beautiful sites I've ever witnessed. The wind blew the trees, and the snow fell off the branches. "What an amazing sight." I resumed my jogging pace. I followed down the trail, and go to the rally hub. It was tall, had black slopes, statues of Rez, and the some of the Royal Council Veterans saluting us with a sword in their hand. "Wow.." I said.
"HI" A voice came behind me. "AHHH" I screamed. It was Askune. "Hey Askune." I said, "Hey man." He said, "Are you being nice all of a sudden," I asked. "I've never been mean, just been suspicious of some new recruits, that's all!" We walked into the hub, and saw soldiers standing in a line. "You're late Askune and HollowedUnicorn." The Dignitary stated, "What is your reasoning.." Askune jabbed me in the side with his elbow. "Um, I slept in. Sorry sir." I joined the line. Askune smiled and nodded, and joined the line after me.
"Today my brothers and sisters, we fight the Kallaz Order with force! They've ruined our fort, our homeland. They've murdered our friends, family, and everyone we cared about. It's time to put that aside, but not for revenge; but for our honor. We must fight them in order to keep the war on balance. We must attack them with force, and our allies; Imperium Empire shall assist us doing so." The Imperium Empire leader stepped up, "Indeed, you will be invading BlackWater Infantry; while my troops go for BHB." I looked over at he other soldiers, they seemed fine. "It's time for us to rise again my brothers and sisters. No more time to hold back. Let us take our spot back. Let us take our glory, and our pride!" Rezdonox said. "Hail Royal Blood! Hail the Alliance!"
"Glory to the Alliance!" Everyone said, and saluted. I knew it was time to invade, and get my revenge equally.
I was assigned with Askune, Puli007, GilbertTheMelon, and Ravenless. Ravenless was the actual girl high rank I knew so far. She was Royal Guardian; and I heard rumors that she was a good high rank. She was our squad leader; and we were about to enter our ship. I stopped, and saw Aohi. He shot a grin at me, and I did the same. I climbed aboard, and sat down. The ship was about to deport, and I was ready for action...
