The pro's and con's of using indentation in programming languages. Discuss.
I'll start: Pro - The indented code is neater and is visually easier to interact with. Con - Pasting the code into a txt file may ruin the formatting, possibly removing the indentation. Consequently, the code may not run properly.
And; for those who may be wandering in haze, here is an example of a programming language that uses indentation: Python |

I hate you, and everything about you.

I prefer indentation if you wish to be able to read and edit your code. A big block of chunked up letters, symbols, and numbers is a complete mess and can ruin the professional look of your code.
For an example, take a look at the map generation script I made. You can pick up a copy of it in my Models section so you can see the benefits of indentation. |

indentation should always be used...
there aren't any downsides. you're not going to be pasting code into a .txt file. its just easier to read and prettier.

| Even if you do copy and paste the code, the formatting with be retained. What are you taking? |

@oysi The spooky skilentons cannot get me with my euphoric neckbeard, cheeto fingers, bitcoins, Edward Snowden, libertarianism, atheism, and my fedora. Speaking of fedoras, I might as well tip mine for you, good sir! ;^) |

Well, if you want it harder for people to steal code snippets and ideas from your code, you remove indentation after you publish your code.
