So there's this guy in Utah who is a pro-domestic oil conservative. He owns a small business that produces smoothies. He decided to charge liberals 5.95 for what conservatives would get for 4.95. Apparently everyone is enthusiastic about this, and a conservative patron said that he's glad they're paying more. He donates the extra money to conservative think tanks like the Heritage Foundation.
Read it here: http://www.washingtonpost.co()m/blogs/thinktanked/wp/2013/01/16/liberals-pay-more-in-utah-smoothie-shop-surcharge-goes-to-conservative-groups/ (delete the parentheses)
What do you think of this policy? I personally think liberals ought to feel what its like to pay high taxes, so it will probably teach them a lesson. |

| I think it is an ignorant business decision to do that. He's just going to lose customers. I think it's important to separate political views from the workplace |

| I do not like smoothies nor do I live in Utah so getting 1 dollar off doesn't effect me but, I do not support this as it is idiotic. |

You see, the thing is, why do those liberals go into the smoothie shop and publicize that they are liberal?
Although, he should just say, "You're being charged extra as insurance in case you get Obamacare imposed upon my business." |

| I think this is a great idea, liberals wanting the rich to be taxed is utterly stupid. So give liberals the taste of their own medicine. It's just competition. |

"Liberals are on average richer than conservatives, though. So what's happening here is that the richer are fine with having higher taxes."
I have noticed this syndrome before. This is because those who are conservative are still trying to get themselves out of the lower classes and truly earning their wealth. Liberals who are rich have already been rich, so they don;t have full knowledge of what it means to truly earn something. Also its a generalization, so there are more factors in play. It also comes down to the experience on how that person rose to prominence. Some people who have become rich think its a good thing to rise up like the heroic individualist and others do the same, these are your conservatives. Others may have had a very struggling experience and would want to help others so they don't have the same, even if it means government help, these are your liberals. |

If a rich person is willing to pay more taxes than the poor, then why would you not allow it?
Because someone else, who probably is just as rich doesn't want to be taxed himself. Once the government gains control over one person who is just like you, it will inevitably get control over you. |

| No, I am not. The majority of any group does not have the right to take away any of your rights. |

So I guess you're not in support of majority wins? The majority of rich people are fine with those taxes, but I guess you want to make it better for only the minorities, and do what the minorities want... --- Adolf, Stalin nd' mao love your thinking. Tyranny by the majority doesn't make it any more correct. |

@Sinii
Liberals are on average richer, but you need to take everything into consideration. Is there a huge wealth gap among conservatives? You need to look further into this.
Also, if the rich wanted to pay more taxes, they would. They could just send a larger cheque to the government, absolutely nothing is stopping them. So please, don't say they want to, because if they want to, they would. |

Actually as consequence to the Civil Rights Movement you can't do it on basis of race. |
