| I prefer fan, so you don't end up making a mistake when installing the liquid cooling(ends badly). |

Alright. I'm custom ordering online and am a noob to PC, so I'll just stick to fan for price/un-experianced reasons. Thanks! |

Well if it's just a processor like an i3 (what I have) stock fan is good enough. If you're getting and i5 or something then maybe an After-Market fan would be a better idea.

| I would advise to get the 212 evo. It's pretty cheap and is excellent at what it does. |

Fans, with also both side 'panels' taken off, complete ''unrestricted'' airflow.
Also a lazy ass shortcut if problems or just upgrade, dust can have free resting places until high temperature kicks in on idle. |

| How does liquid cooling work, exactly? |

Fan cooling compared to liquid cooling is like comparing a pen to a pencil.
With a pencil, if you screw up, you can just try again and erase your mistake.
With a pen, if you screw up, it's permanent and you'll probably end up having to re-try on a different sheet of paper. |

Water cooling is far more efficient and quiet, but more expensive.

@cat
Removing the side panels means the components are no longer in a faraday cage, could result in interference |
