all though it seems very unlikely it is not impossible there are 3 teams with us Portugal, Ghana, Germany ill go by each game explaining how they can get out of the group
USA vs Ghana: June 16th| 6:00pm EST | Natal the USA have been eliminated by Ghana the past 2 world Cups in 2006 in the group stage by 2-1 and 2010 in the knockout stage 2-1 AET so the U.S. though have gotten way better since then i expect for them to overwhelm Ghana taking it by a solid 2-1 or 3-1 its time the Americans take revenge on the Black Stars of Ghana *but idk Ghana beat the USA at the U20 World Cup in Turkey this year by a score line of 4-1
USA vs Portugal: June 22| 3:00pm EST | Manaus Probably gonna be the most expected game of the group stage the USA really well MUST get a result here if they plan on moving on. why they can win? well at the 2002 World Cup in Korea/Japan the U.S. did beat Portugal 3-2 and took a 3-0 lead but Portugal have new stars as Ronaldo and Nani it will be though but the Americans wll pull a draw 1-1 or 2-2 so well just cuz they have Ronaldo doesnt mean there the best good luck Os Navegadores
USA vs Germany: June 26| 12:00pm EST | Recife This one i got to say is not gonna happen yes we beat them in a friendly this year 4-3 but look at the German squad then not a single World Cup player expect for Klose also i know Jurgen Klinnsman can pull a few German tricks against them but there not the team from 2006 this one could get ugly if the U.S. don't defend well i call it a 2-0 lost for the Americans but then again German coach Joachim Low was Jurgen's assistant in 2006 so good luck Die Mannschaft
Final Group Standings Germany 9pts (yes they take every game) USA 4pts (if we score more then Portugal) Portugal 4pts (if the U.S. Score more) Ghana 0pts (it was a good run)
the knockout stage match puts us with the Group H #1 which will be either Belgium or Russia (hopefully not Belgium)
It will be fun looking forward to this one Go USA! |
