Yeah..i always thought they should make a movie of this..I MEAN THERES SO MANY OTHER MATCHES YOU CAN MAKE ASIDE FROM FREDDY VS. JASON!!! WHY THE HELL AREN'T YOU LISTENING TO THE FANS OUT THERE AND MAKEING CHUCKY VS. LEPERCHAUN,FREDDY VS. PINHEAD, LEATHERFACE VS. JASON.. Anyways..i think Jason would win..hes pretty much a zombie.... Jason can not DIE. Michael..can take a beating before going down, But in the end, Jason would be the winner. |

| Michael has never died. Jason has. That's all I'm going to say. |

I'm pretty sure it's established that Michael can die via decapitation (if you consider the later sequels canon.) Jason can't die anymore period. It's theorized that Jason has always been immortal (surviving the drowning, a hanging, and an axe to the face.) and the lighting in Jason Lives simply awoke him.
I'm going to give it to Jason. |

| It's not like he wanted to be decapitated, Ultra. That's the only reason he put his clothes on the dude. They never specifically said that decapitating him would kill him permanently. |

It depends on the canon.
Resurrection is set in its own timeline. And, that movie sucks balls anyway. |

Michael Myers.
The main reason: The first Halloween was good. All of the Friday The 13th's were awful, including the original.
Also, Michael Myers is smarter and actually thinks about killing. Jason Voorhees is just "ah, person, me kill!" and doesn't think about his tactics. Michael Myers is also quicker and more stealthy, while also keeping the strength of Jason. |

I agree, Rose. Most people say Jason simply because they're fans of the series. |

I fail to see how the Friday the 13th movies being "awful" makes Michael the victor. We're talking about the characters, not the movies.
And, Jason displays intelligence, in fact I'd argue that he's one of the more intelligent slashers. |

He did watch the movies. He just described the plot for the whole series.
My point: Friday The 13th has no plot, never has and never will.
At least Halloween actually incorporated a plot into the series, instead of just mindless murder. |

Friday the 13th has more plot than one might suggest, hell, it has more plot than the Halloween sequels which were dreadful and dragged out Michael's character far too much.
Regardless, I still don't know how quality of the movies effect a character's strengths and weaknesses, you keep resorting to criticizing the movies as if it somehow proves that Michael could beat Jason. |

The Friday the 13th films have no plot.
Halloween is about Michael Myers trying to kill his sister Laurie Strode, because he needs to end his family so his curse can be ended. I admit it's weak, but at least there's a reason behind all the killing. |

| I watched Michael Myers and fell in love, but plots aside we need to talk about who would win in a fight. |

Michael, hands down.
He's smart, strong, ruthless and silent/stealthy.
Jason is stupid; a mindless zombie. All he cares about is murder, murder and more murder. |

Jason relies on his strength and swings his machete, but since Michael is faster and smarter he dodges and it stabbed in the gut.
