Probably going to be the final configuration unless I find a better deal on the monitor.

The OS is either going to be Linux or FreeBSD.
I plan on purchasing this build after I purchase an Xbox One, which will likely be sometime early-to mid next year.
This build will be used as a workstation of sorts. |

>GT 640
More like
Worst card ever 640
(I'm being serious, if you plan to do anything, like video editing a high end GPU is worth it, because it takes more of a load than your CPU)
get rekt |

@rampage
The bulk of what I'm doing is going to be CPU-bound. Besides, that is better than the prior GPU I had in my build, right? |

| I would advise to go for the 650ti. It costs under 100$.. last time I checked and it's a brilliant card... for a mid-range card. |

| What is the most graphically intensive thing you will be doing with it? |

| Animation? You might look for a workforce card but apart from that I see no issue in having a GT 640. Check the graphics requirements/recommendation with your animation program, though, to be sure. |

| Yeah, it's a good idea to have a workstation card if you'll be doing animation. |

| I planned on rendering the bulk of the graphics using the CPU though. |

"I planned on rendering the bulk of the graphics using the CPU though." it isn't required to have a workstation card however its reccommended you spend a little more for a higher end card |
