You bronies try to play down the darker side of your fandom as minorities when they're actually the majority that keeps your fandom going. The real majority are hateful attention seekers, apathetic peverts & only care for themselves. This is evidenced from the "r34" to "clopfic" top suggestions when typing in character's names from MLP into the Google suggestion box to flame wars and meme spam on brony pages and videos. Bronies like you try, and fail, to distance yourselves from the fact that your community was built by trolls ever since it was bred off of 4chan and has mainly been comprised of them, and the like, ever since. Without them, your fandom wouldn’t even exist.
(To prove it, as aforementioned, go on Google right now and type RD's name in the box without pressing enter. Within 3 boxes down one of the autofills will add R34 to the query.
Do this with a character of any other show and this never happens) |

So you're saying that the fandom is made up of clopficing weirdos because it's a common search request.
This is just... No... |

Minority
the smaller number or part, esp. a number that is less than half the whole number.
I didn't know what it meant so just looked it up. |

"So you're saying that the fandom is made up of clopficing weirdos because it's a common search request."
The search engine is design to search up things people already look up the most. Press F and you see facebook etc.
You can even do this with latin-american engine and the uk engine.

Yes I understand this but just because a certain phrase is searched up doesn't mean that applies to the whole fanbase, the TV show itself, or to any one person even in existence.
The ambiguity is huge, if a large amount of people started watching Christian r34 clips doesn't mean that it applies to every single Christian out there, or does it mean that most people who are Christian watch these certain clips. |

So was this supposed to be something like a rant? Were you trying to vent? These so called "bronies" are hardly on ROBLOX, and many of them are children who would buy into any fad if they are. What's more, you're expecting them to be on NB? Oh, you know this?
I suppose you just wanted to vent, then.
If you're targeting a certain fandom, have facts to the roof or at least enough that will not make you feel like a fool after the discussion is finished.
Yes, much of the fanbase is this "bad side" you stated in the OP. However, are we supposed to be judging a whole fanbase by bad examples?
Oh, you just wanted to argue the fact that most of them say the majority of them are good fans?
This still doesn't add up. You seem to have quite a lot of research on what "r34" and "clopfic" to make such a rant. Assuming your theory is correct, why is it wrong for a certain member of a "bad" fandom to distance themselves from said fandom? I would also like to know how the "bad" side of this fandom is the reason it exists. Maybe the reason it exists is simply...this fandom likes a certain television series?
Or maybe I'm just being asinine and you are quite the intellectual.
Also, you do realize that My Little Pony has quite a large fandom. I don't see how it would matter if a large number of normal people with an...err...different interest... would be wrong in trying to separate themselves from people who use the show as a means to get off.
Not to mention some of the show's target audience actually watches it.
A fandom cannot be formed by trolls if it is based off of people enjoying a television series. If so, we are talking about a different type of fandom or group. In other words, the only "fandom" that was formed by these trolls wasn't a fandom as much as a group of...well...stereotypical people on the internet.
If it makes you feel better, and you feel you are a smart being and a good ranter after reading this: You are good at declaiming. This thread will probably be slept on by nearly all the people it was aimed at.
Oh, and R34 has quite a big community to begin with. There are other things that are far less popular that will also get the same search suggestion. |

i think the term "brony" has caused some issues
you can be a fan of my little pony without considering yourself a "brony." but the people who seek to be identified as something flock under the title of "brony." and these people that gather for the "attention" are more likely to do things like spam about MLP, do all the r34 stuff, and just overhype it in general.
to outsiders, we identify the people we see most commonly as the "bronies." and the people we see most commonly and have the most distinct memory of are those that are the "bad side." so to us, the majority is the bad side.
i'm not really sure of what i'm trying to say here, but basically it's like how people who don't watch anime associate all those kids that make threads like "sao is the greatest thing in existence ever since i watched it i've wanted to move to japan and become just like kirito XDDD" as the majority of anime fans or "otakus," as some identify themselves.
not sure if that made sense at all, i'm tired |

Well techinally, it was brought back to life by Lauren Faust only did 4chan people started watching it then liking it, then it got around every, though most bronies aren't trolls. I can assure you that. My friends know I am a brony along with my mom, and they don't mind

I'm OK with people who watch and enjoy the show. They're cool.
I'm not ok with:
People who pervert something this innocent People who over-glorify this show as it is just mediocre Foul mouthed infants in the fandom Other types, breeds and molds of rabid-bronies.
They should honestly do something about themselves.
like: Keep the "candid" material to themselves Accept the fact that there are better shows and other fandoms Realize it's just a show Not get carried away with the rest of the negativity in their fandom |

I searched it up and the third box was "Rainbow dash halloween costume.
While I agree the fanbase was based around trolls, That doesn't mean It's full of trolls. Infact most bronies aren't trolls. If they were there wouldn't be Bronycon and other things. About cloppers, There are only a handful of them. I don't know why it shows that on google for you, but it doesn't mean anything. |

Ugh, Bronycon It's bad enough people revolve their life and identity around a show, now they invest money into gathering a bunch of fursuiters and fedora tippers for
get this:
ONE show.
But that's just me, I don't mean offense to anybody who has gone or wishes they have gone, don't let me stop you. |

"they're just fans."
I'm a pokefan and Otaku A Happy Tree Fan A UFC fan
Tell me right now that knew all of those and you win. Otherwise, the bronies who change their pics to ponies, post only about ponies, and revolve their identity to being bronies are enough to say that statement is, well:
Understated. |
