This idea is a group that is based on one massive, very detailed RP thread. This thread will be about a medieval country. For example, instead of saying that a peasant has a small hovel, it will say this:
"The peasant, [Name here], is granted a deed to this land. On this land, [Name] has constructed a hovel of mud, wood, and stone. His "House" consists of one main room, which has a firepit in the middle of it. It has a wooden wardrobe containing a linen tunic and woolen shoes. His bed is a slab of wood with a woolen blanket dyed red."
^ Basic House. And, for example, beginning to plant would work like:
Crops:
Corn: x50 Carrot: x50 Wheat: x200
Week II
Corn: 48 Carrot: 50 Wheat: 200
Week III The wheat will be ready to harvest soon!
Corn: 45 Carrot: 46 Wheat: 196
Week IV The harvest of wheat has arrived!
Corn: 44 Carrot: 46 Wheat Harvested: 193
In order to make the wheat into flour, and eventually bread, you must sell it to the mill. The mill will then give you half of the wheat back, which you may take to a baker. The baker will then give 3/4 of the bread back to you, which you may store in order to eat later. On the side, you made 143 [Currency Name Here]
The group wall will be so I can announce updates and "Special Events". Also, it will decide your ranking so I may keep track. For example, I'll have the rank of "Farmer". I know that "Farmer" rank needs to have a farm. The rank of "Lord" will allow you to take money from other players in the form of a tax.
So, good or bad idea? |

| I am aware. It may just be 50% Forum 50% in-game. Perhaps like a newspaper or something will be used on the forums. |

| sounds cool but will probably turn off people who don't have enough time to participate in something that detailed. Seems like you'd have to do a lot of micromanaging. |
