[per arrangement]
I am a young thief, riding on the coattails of my betters. I live my life in Luxlune, the best city for a young thief like I. I barely make my living from several poor men I either kill or steal from. I barely know much, as I was abandoned one day, and I only have a single bronze dagger. I know my way around the streets quite well, and I am finally ready to make it big time, with my paltry 30 gold, I will rise the ranks and they will all fear my name!

Name - Alexander, just Alexander.
Description - I am small and skinny, nimble, and light on my feet. My feet have high arches to better allow me to sneak around. I have a childish face with mottled brown hair and a dirty marks that cover my body. I am a few foot-lengths smaller than most of the men around this place. I wear old rags that are tight against even my small body. I have muscular arms that allow me to fire my bow and enable me to make some nice get-aways. |

| You awaken in a library, off the edge in a lonely island called Gale. You are in an island, in the city of Eclipse, a lonely city that refuses to take a side in the war. |

| You leave the library. The town is mostly small. There's an inn, a house that used to be yours, but you sold it for a good price that you spent on the library just a few days ago. The wealth of knowledge in it is amazing, and you could easily learn a lot of things. You feel like it was worth it. Other than the inn and about twenty houses, there's a forge, two general stores, one tailor, one butcher, and some miscellaneous sellers. Everyone else is farmers. |

| Well, the Butcher may have some valuable items in his home. I shall scout out his home for a day and see if there are any patterns of him leaving the home for long periods of time, if there are any simple ways to get in, and maybe scrounge up other valuable info along the way. |

| You enter, quietly. The front entrance is unlocked. It is a two story room, and everything is neat and orderly. Quickly checking areas, you find all the valuables removed, by some high notch thief. There is a symbol of a moon above a bird which is cut into the blanket on the bed. |

Well, I'll sketch it onto something.
If there is no parchment around I'll simply have to memorize the symbol. After that, I'll leave the house.
Is there any way I can look further into this mysterious symbol? |

| You copy it down. Considering it's a symbol of a Thief, Luxlune is a good option. Or your library might be able to track it down, or the local historian writer might shed some info. |

| You pore over every textbook about thievery you have. [+10!! boost to sneak, +5 to Thievery]. It all drains into the Thieves Guild, and you find little about them, other than their masterful heists that they likely pulled off, a 100 years ago. |

Well, if they're so masterful, then why are they thieving on a butcher? Maybe these people, or this person, is trying to reform the group? It seems like a possibility. With my skills, I think I'd make a valuable asset if my assumption are indeed true.
Well, if I were this group, I'd probably start with the butcher, but I've obviously missed my chance there.
I count off the major buildings in the area to start with. |

The Butcher was incredibly wealthy, plus, he was never exactly a straight guy. Easy blackmail is possible. On accident [lol luckiest diceroll ever], you take out the wrong book for the map. Snickering, you look inside. There explains mythical groups.
And you are rather surprised. 'Nightingales' is the symbol. Forge, Inn, Mithis Mansion is a big one, and you'd likely get noticed. But the Thieves Guild is stationed in Luxlune, and while it's true they're times are hard, it's nigh impossible to believe they've got any influence here. It's likely these Nightingales and the Thieves Guild are two separate entities, but partners. That is, if this Nightingale is working together with other Nightingales.

| (How exactly does that correspond to my post? I asked for the major buildings or wealthy people so I could find out where these "Nightingales," would strike.) |

| You set up at the forge, realizing that some of those weapons might be worth a lot. You are paid off two days later [inn was robbed previously], you see the mysterious figure. He runs in, and in less than ten minutes he runs to the old dwemer ruin. You run towards him, following back a little bit, before he enters. You've heard stories and even seen a group go in and never come back. |
