"Watch out!" Someone had screamed. The plasma bomb exploded, sending the aircraft they were in on fire, and the electronics had been fried, no longer able to fly. "We can't use the ship anymore!" The pilot was screaming that over and over, every letter filled with more panic than the last. | Another large plasma bomb floats by getting ready to explode, but fortunately, the engineer manages to gun it down. The engineer looks at the pilot as he shouts : " I'll go check on the escape pods!". The engineer dashes to the escape pods. |

The year is 2193, and Earth had finally met alien race. They didn't have to look, the aliens came to them. The name of the aliens was "Lynx". There was a peace, for a few weeks. Then... The Lynx ships materialized from the air, after being invisible. They rained plasma bombs all over Earth, killing half the Earth's population in seconds, and mutating a fourth of them. There were some people who escaped any attack, by living in the wilderness. The Lynx didn't target those places, for reasons unknown. Anyways, back to the topic. After the plasma bombs were fired, the rest of Earth's military had formed together to stop the lynx from killing them. Anybody over the age of 15 was enlisted in the war, and received two weeks of extreme training. Although, a special group of mutants and normal soldiers had received a year of training, and had a piece of a conversation implanted in their head, that would be said if a code was said to them. They were called "The Defiance". Their training was finished, and now are on their first mission. Getting to the Extraction Point. The aircraft, would only drop them half way, otherwise it would not have enough fuel to reach base. The only thing is, who are the soldiers?
Rules 1. No saying "It's not in the rules!" 2. There is only thirteen soldiers in the troop. If there is no more space, well, sorry. 3. R.omance at your own risk. PG-13. 4. Please have grammar. Once in a while mkstakes are ok. 5. Have a balanced character, not one that shoots rockets from their face... Or something like that. 6. I will accept people. 7. Only one character is permitted. 8. If a character dies, than another person can make a CS, and take the spot. A dead person needs to wait for the mission they died on to complete, than one full mission after that, to make a CS. 9. If you wanted to do this, but too many people come, wait. After all the missions, the 13 character limit breaks. 10. Make sure what your character does is normal. Good example: "I try to jump away from the blast." Bad example: " I REVSE TME AND MAK THM EXPlod!" (Bad example also applies to 4.) 11. Have fun!
---Perks--- A perk is something special of your character, that allows you to add something, that normally wouldn't happen.
Explosives Expert: Carry three lethal weapons. With this, you can also get 1 of each. Normally, you can only have two of the same type lethal. Handy Man/Woman: With this, you get three Non-lethal grenades. Same deal as above, but with non-lethals. Big Guns: Hold two primary guns. Little Guns: Hold two secondary guns. Allows pistol dual wield. Medic: You carry a First Aid Kit. Heals two Mortally Wounded, three Heavily Wounded, four Wounded. If you heal two Mortally wounded, it doesn't affect the other accounts. Provisions Carrier: You are allowed to bring three food rations, and three water bottles, rather than one of each. Damage Dealer: Your bullets have extra coating, allowing more damage. Damage Withstander: You don't get wounded as easily. Survivalist: You don't get as Thirsty/Hungry as easily. Man of Action: More likely to pull off extreme stunts. Natural Healer: Say Defiance in other to show you read this. In Pain and Wounded heal faster than normal. Accuracy: You have a better chance of hitting your target. Speedo: Your faster. Better chance to dodge melee attacks. Pain Resistant: You can do more things when In Pain/ In Heavy pain. Pain Killers: You have two Pain killers with you, allowing you to use and lose In Pain, and reduce In Heavy Pain to In Pain. Explosives Vest: Protects againest explosives. Less chance to receive In Pain or In Heavy Pain from explosives. Swordsman: Yep, you brought it. Your crazy enough to bring a katana with you. Weapon Repair Kit: You brought along a weapon repair kit. You miss your awesome plasma rifle, 'cause it broke? No worries, you can fix it. Grave Savior: You get a defib at the start of every mission.
---Weakness--- Something that affects you. You must take one if you have two Perks, two if you have three perks.
Explosives Malfunction: Your explosives have a chance to fail, and will not work. Shaky Hands: Your accuracy is lower. Out Of Shape: You have decreased stamina, and extreme stunts have a better chance of failing. Weakness: Better chance of being Wounded. Bad Bone Structure: You have a better chance of breaking bones. Snail: Your slower. Less chance to dodge melee attacks. Small Stomach: You get hungry and thirsty faster. Allergic to Pain: Better chance to receive In Pain, and In Heavy Pain. You do less than normal with In Pain or In Heavy Pain. Slow Regeneration: You take longer to recover from In Pain and Wounded. Weak Back: You lose either Secondary Weapon slot, or Primary Weapon slot. Put this in Weakness slot, and the weapon slot it affects.
AILMENTS: Things that happen to you, that lower your abilities, and stop you from doing certain actions.
WOUNDED: You have been hit by a bullet/sharp melee weapon, or multiple times with a blunt object. Eat food/ drink water to recover. Almost always is with In Pain. Small chance when in far proximity to explosives.
HEAVILY WOUNDED: You have been hit twice with bullets, or been hit repeatedly by a a sharp weapon. Hit extremely hard with a blunt weapon. Turns into Mortally Wounded if you do a extreme stunt, with this. In medium proximity with explosives. Will have In Pain. Have a Medic heal you, or get bandages to recover.
MORTALLY WOUNDED: You have lost a body part, hit by bullets several times, or hit an extreme amount of times by sharp weapons. In close proximity to explosion. Brings In Heavy Pain almost every time. Very low chance of surviving, and you need sleep, food, water, and medical attention.
IN PAIN: You have been hit hard by a blunt weapon, hit by bullet, or hit by sharp weapon. If hit by blunt weapon, this goes away pretty fast. Hit by sharp weapon, goes away in some time. Hit by bullet goes away in some time. Eat food or drink water to recover faster. Using painkillers removes this instantly. Medium proximity to explosives. If you have this, you have a better chance to be Wounded.
IN HEAVY PAIN: Hit by bullets, hit extremely hard by blunt weapon, or attacked many times by sharp weapons. This stops you from doing a lot of things. Use Painkillers to reduce it to In Pain. Close proximity to explosives. Better chance to become Wounded.
HUNGRY: Your accuracy is decreased, and you move a tiny bit slower. Turns into Starved if you don't eat soon.
THIRSTY: Your accuracy is lowered, and you move slower. Turns into Dehydrated if you don't drink soon.
STARVED: Your accuracy is decreased a load, and you move much slower. You will automaticly eat if you can, or go looking for food, no matter what you do.
DEHYDRATED: Your accuracy is decreased a load, you will move much slower. You will automaticly try to drink water, or find water to drink, no matter what you do.
LAST STAND: If Mortally Wounded while in a combat situation, you can activate this. Sometimes this activates by itself. When in Last Stand, you will be able to use Secondary weapons, melee weapons, and walk slowly. After the situation, you die.
DEAD: You know what Dead is. When Dead, you cannot do anything, but wait to be revived, or left to stay Dead forever. You can be Revived, by using a Defibulator, which has a small chance of failing. Your condition will turn into Being Revived and Vulnerable. After a short time, you will lose those two, and earn Heavily Wounded and In Pain.
VULNERABLE: When with this, if you get damaged, you will either get Mortally Wounded, or if being revived from the Dead, you will die.
BEING REVIVED: Your waking from the Dead! Earned only when a Defib is used on you. You still cannot move, although you will have a small chance to dodge attacks.
REVIVING: Your such a kind soul! Earned by using a defib on a dead body. You cannot be doing anything else, but you can stop using it to do something else. This ends when the dead body is revived. When this ends, you earn the Aid Savior.
INSANE: Your character sometimes does random things. If not rid of, this leads to Psycotic.
PSYCOTIC: Your basicly dead. You can no longer control this character, and he/she will attack everyone, including the squad.
BROKEN BONE: You broke a bone! You can't use that part of body. You can use it, but you will receive In Pain. You get broken bones by getting hit hard enough with blunt weapons, or explosions. Small chances of getting a broken bone when a bullet hits you.
BROKEN WEAPON: You used your gun too much. Great. Every time you fire, you basicly have to fix a jam. Better toss the piece of trash away... Or repair it?
DULL WEAPON: Your sharp weapon is now dull... It does less damage. (Only for swordsman. Other wise, it breaks. Katana's swordsmen use, do NOT break.)
AIDS: Something you earn for doing something.
HEALTHY: You are slightly fed, and slightly hydrated. You aren't affected by any ailments. Accuracy is slightly higher, and you move faster.
WELL FED: You ate some good food! Your accuracy is higher, and you have higher morale.
WELL HYDRATED: You drank a lot of water! Your accuracy is higher, and you have higher morale.
ADRENALINE RUSH: When your in a combat situation and Healthy. You have a better chance of pulling of an extreme stunt, your faster, have better aim, and you dodge attacks more easily.
SAVIOR: This lasts until the end of a mission. You saved someone from the dead, you kind soul! You have better morale, and better aim. You are protected from becoming Psycotic.
PAINKILLERS: This lasts until the end of a mission. You took Painkillers, and now the next time you would receive In Pain, it goes away, or if your In Heavy Pain, it decreases. Only available if your not In Pain or In Heavy Pain.
PROTECTED (Vest or other): Your currently wearing a bullet proof vest, or wearing something bulletproof. Your morale is increased, and you have a smaller chance of becoming Wounded, or having a Broken Bone.
SHARP WEAPON: Your sword or whatever sharp weapon your using is now, well, sharp. It does more damage.

| (It's a bit of both. I will have control of the terrain, the lynx, and generally everything else, but yourself and other players. Also, you cannot shoot your squad members. I also will be controlling a character, which I will be working on soon.) |

AID
CAMOFLAUGED: You muttered the word "change" while being still, and your matching into the enviroment. You will not be seen by the lynx unless they are extremely close to you and looking, or wearing heat vision goggles. You cannot move yourself, aside from getting something on you, without breaking this camo.
Perk
Camoflague Expert: Your camoflauge covers most of your body heat, allowing you not to be seen by lynx wearing heat vision goggles, although a rare chance allows them to see you.
Weakness
Malfunctioning Camoflauge: Your camoflauge sometimes malfunctions, activating when it's not supposed to, or just changing when your already camoflauged. |

Average body size, not quite tall. Personality: Mike likes to be helpful, sometimes daydreams when he shouldn't, kind of thinks slowly and doesn't like to be much of a leader. Appearance: Emilia has almost-silver golden tresses that fall to her waist, usually kept in a ponytail with a few strands hanging around her forehead. She wears a dark blue tank top covered by a bulletproof vest. Brown trousers tucked into combat boots, she is often seen wearing fingerless gloves that need to be strapped on to tighten.
Personality: Emilia is a quiet, polite and aggressive lady. Although considered to be young, her strength is her innocence. She uses this to her advantage and is known for her quiet assassinations. She doesn't trust anyone and in return nobody trusts her, although she happened to gain the trust of a commanding officer and was enlisted in 'The Defiance', she also appears to speak in a strong British accent.
