I'm making my own racing game too!
Cars do require scripting if you want to make the physics really good. Standard car physics are terrible. You can turn while stopped, and you accelerate extremely fast. You also go in reverse just as fast as you would going forward. But scripting can fix all of that if you're really into making a good "physics engine" for your car.
Also, headlights and gears if you want manual drive. |
