My family has pretty much dragged me around every day that isn't a school night or a day that I have school.
Like I can understand Thanksgiving, but seriously. Last night we went to some part of the city to do stuff because why not I guess, and then went to eat dinner. I didn't want to disappoint my family members by falling asleep in the car, so I stayed up like 29 hours straight, came home to fall in the driveway, and fall asleep at like 10:40 with no computer or anything.
Today I thought I would /finally/ relax, just go on the Internet for a few hours then nap, but no, dad wanted to go out to eat. He also went to get fish food and sort of used that as an excuse, but that's a one-person job really. All three of us didn't need to go out to eat then go do that.
Like seriously, every time I get a break that isn't the typical weekend, my family is always like "LET'S GO DO THIS EVEN THOUGH YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T WANT TO GO" and I just /really/ want to tell them not to do this sort of thing.
I know I sound spoiled, but this is typically more of what /they/ want to do, not me. And there's times when I even tell my mom I don't want to do something or express it, but she responds with something like "We need to be a family" or "She/he really wants to do this" or "You need to be outside anyway" |

| I fully understand how you feel, My family is that one family that sends out Christmas Pictures and goes to everyone s house and my Dad always drinks a little to much "Cider" and my siblings are obnoxious , But i guess you get used to it and you have to because they're your family |

| And then that thing where you get a whole bunch of chores and than your siblings get none or they don't clean the house, like I literally clean all 3 floors of my house top to bottom every other week. it sucks |

No, I'm not used to it, because they tend to clue me in at the last minute and dear god, I just want to rest. |

| Take a second to explain to them that you need a nap or some time to yourself, I am pretty sure they would understand, it's a very reasonable request. |

I've tried. Today regarding the whole "eating out" thing, I seriously told my mother "because I don't want to go" or "I don't really want to go" or something and she just sort of brushed it off and said "We need to be a family"
That wouldn't be a problem if you let my dad come along to do more stuff, since I'll be honest, most of our outings only involve me, my mom, my aunt, and my grandmother. |

| Yeah sometimes it helps to just stand up for yourself maybejust say you are exhausted and lock yourself in your room or just sleep before hand so maybe they wont wake you up for an outing? thats usually what I do to avoid that sort of stuff |

@Kyle
That might be rude though.
@Evil.
No. I was up like 29 hours straight to do something I didn't really want to do. |

The 29 hours isn't an exaggeration. I was looking at the clock. |

I wasn't trying to imply that, I'm just saying. My mom knew I had been up that long, yet we kind of went through with the plan. |

| My family is the exact opposite of that. We all just leave each other alone. |
