Don't bother to read this if you don't want to hear a somewhat sad story about two people who are no longer friends.
My friend, Gestozony, has quit ROBLOX.
It was a long time ago he and I spent time together playing games and just talking. That was back when he used the account Geoglory. But Geoglory was deleted.
I didn't see Geoglory for a long time. Then one day, I was in Sword Fighting Tournament, talking with a few people I met there, and I see the words pop up on the screen:
"Gestony: BLOX" "Gestony: BLOX IT'S GEOGLORY"
He had been using a PG'd (pass guessed) account, I don't remember the name, to do some alt stuff around the game's number of servers, like trolling and such. The owner tried to settle and get the account back, but when Geoglory refused, he went to the reporting system for help.
I knew about this. I knew one day he'd get deleted for it and I wasn't going to let his actions get in the way of our friendship because he was one of my only friends back then. So I left him be.
Gestony and I started hanging out together, and we made a few personal servers. One day, in one of my games, he and my friend, PrettyBraveCat123, who has also quit to this day, had a major fight over social life, popularity, and personal things. I hated to see my friends fight so I kicked them both from the server.
The next morning, I logged on to settle with Cat and Gestony. I went to get Cat, and she showed up at one of my places. I went to Gestony's page, and... nothing happened again.
About three weeks later, I get a message from a guy named Gestozony.
He tells me he is Geoglory/Gestony, as usual. We begin to hang out a bit, but mainly through parties and the forums, because he gets continuous 0x1 errors when he enters games, unless he goes on his mom's laptop.
He later told me his only real goals and reasons for playing ROBLOX were to set some milestones, like getting famous on ROBLOX or reaching some extraordinary amount of forum posts, etc. He then posts to his blurb, "Quitting at 1k Posts."
Later that month, I went really inactive and hardly ever logged on. When I did, he was never on, and I figured he was always busy or something.
When I came back a few weeks ago, I paid no mind to him and never even thought of him until a few weeks back when I told my friend a part of this story.
Today, I actually checked his profile. He was last seen a few weeks ago, and he has 970 posts.
I simply walked away to write this, knowing my Geoglory storyline was over. |
