Bump It! is a special button that should be added to all threads and can only be used by the original poster of the thread. Bump It! automatically bumps the thread for you without raising post count! You can't use Bump It! on the same post more than twice a day!

Wait..
What's the difference of doing this, and posting on your own thread? (Excluding nullifying the post count if you used "Bump It!") |

| The difference is it doesn't actually post the words "bump", it just sends your thread up! (without interfering with stickies, of course.) |

Hmm.. well... That doesn't give me too much to say I "Support".
But I don't hate this idea either. Sounds okay I guess. Do you have any examples of when you might need to use "Bump It!" ? |

When your thread in S&I or OT is still young but it's already moved onto the second page, where not many users go to look. |

I personally think it's stupid, and useless... Why?
1) How hard is it to click on your thread and type B-U-M-P?
2) If it's a good thread, you won't need to bump it, people will reply with "Support"
3) No one worries about their own post count... |

@supercoolguy
1) It takes less time, and people don't think you look dumb for bumping it. (unless people look at timestamps, it's not likely noticed that you clicked Bump It!) 2) A lot of good threads start slow, so you gotta bumpem at first 3) well we're trying to cut down on half of those posts in count being spam |

@ceaselesssoul
1) reduces spam 2) doesn't make threads look like they are just the word bump 3) cleans out many useless posts |

@blackhero
1) Not spam, just to bump a post 2) All threads are (depends where you look) 3) What's the difference between troll posts and Bump posts? Nothing.

| I'm new to Forum posts, I started it yesterday, so what does replying to the thread with "Bump" mean? I know most people probably know this, but I don't. .-. |

Bump means to Bring Up My Post, and it puts your thread to the top of the all the threads (besides pinned ones).

| Type an inappropriate word in it. It will bump itself and it wont show up. |
