Marines are the first to fight, facing down threats virtually anywhere. When a crisis ensues, Marines respond rapidly. Whether it's rescuing civilians from terrorists or aiding with natural disasters, Marines are a willing, capable and an agile force ready to move in at a moments notice.
Those who desire our title must first endure our training, and undergo an everlasting change that is external, internal and undeniable. The transformation will not happen overnight, but will last a lifetime.

The Marine Corps Motto is Semper Fidelis; it means Always Faithful. A Marine can always be depended upon in times of need to do what is necessary for the success of a mission.
Other unofficial mottos of the Marine Corps are: 'Do or die'; 'First to fight, last to leave'; 'Marines are always prepared'.

To begin, we have a set of rules and standards that every person must reach in order to be able to call themselves a 'Marine'. These rules are simple, common sense rules.
1) You must maintain proper grammar at all times. Failure to do so may lead to demotion or being sent back to Boot Camp.
2) You must wear your Marine Corps BDUs at UNSC related places, including our cities and allied bases. You are not permitted to wear any other uniforms unless you are ODST, or have other
3) You are expected to practice and keep your marksmanship skills up to point at all times. At no time should you be unable to participate in combat due to a lack in shooting ability.
4) You are never allowed to talk back, insult, or give attitude to any superior ranking member of the Marines who is above the rank of Corporal. They are here to help you and the Marines defend our home and continue to serve as the UNSC's strongest and most well trained fighting force.
5) You must always obey the orders given to you by your superiors. In no circumstance is it ok for you to go against or ignore orders given to you.
6) You are expected to know all the rules of the Marine Corps at all times, along with your basic commands, ranks, and other information on this guide.
7) You must always refer to officers of a higher rank as "Sir". You will be expected to refer to all Enlisted by their rank. For example, you would call a 2nd Lieutenant 'Sir' if you were a Sergeant, and you would call a Staff Sergeant 'Staff Sergeant' if you were a private. If you are a higher rank then someone, you also refer to them by their rank. If you were a Colonel, you would refer to a Sergeant Major as Sergeant Major.
8) When told to do an action by a superior, you must respond with 'Aye Sir' or 'Aye Sergeant' Depending on if they are Officer or Enlisted.
9) When asked a question you must respond 'Yes Sir', 'No Sir'. Again, depending on their rank, if they are not an officer, or a lower rank, you use their rank name.
10) You may never order a superior unless given permission by an even higher rank. You must never give permission to allow a person to command a higher rank, unless in an urgent situation where that person is needed as a leader.
11) Hats must be either hair, or a 'Green Beret'. If you do not own either you must be bald. Hair cannot be anything crazy or unrealistic. Drill Instructors are the only ones allowed to wear the Campaign Cover ('Ranger Hat'). This is in order to ensure Marines look professional at all times.

At the moment these ranks are not exact, due to a few of them having different names or not being created yet. Study them for future reference but check the group to see the current ranks
If you do well in Recruit Training, you can potentially receive Honor Grad status and Graduate Boot Camp as a Private First Class. To do so requires extreme dedication and perfect discipline while in Boot Camp.
When you first join the Marines, unlike other branches, you do not already start out as a Marine, or with a rank. You start out as a Recruit, and have to prove that you understand all the rules and codes of the UNSC Marine Corps. We have high standards, and to be able to call yourself a Marine, you have to meet those standards.
The ranks are as follows, with Commandant of the Marine Corps at the top and Recruit at the bottom. On the left is the Paygrade, this is to help compare our ranks and where they stand with other branches. An O-9 Lieutenant General would be the equivalent of an O-9 Vice Admiral in the Navy. E# stands for Enlisted, and O# Stands for Officer. E4-5 is an NCO, or Non-Commissioned Officer, and E6-9 are SNCOs or Senior Non-Commissioned Officers.
O10: Commandant of the Marine Corps / General O9: Vice Commandant of the Marine Corps / Lieutenant General O8: Major General O7: Brigadier General O6: Colonel O5: Lieutenant Colonel O4: Major O3: Captain O2: 1st Lieutenant O1: 2nd Lieutenant E9: Sergeant Major / Master Gunnery Sergeant / Sergeant Major of the Marine Corps E8: First Sergeant / Master Sergeant E7: Gunnery Sergeant E6: Staff Sergeant E5: Sergeant E4: Corporal E3: Lance Corporal E2: Private First Class E1: Private Recruit

We are going to establish five tiers of official training for the Marine Corps, they will be as follows:
Recruit Training: Recruit Training or 'Boot Camp' is where our Drill Instructors turn our Recruits into Marines. In order to earn the title you will be trained and tested in everything you have to know. By the time you graduate Recruit Training you will know every rank, command, and rule of the UNSC Marine Corps.
Physical Training: Physical Training or PT for short, is your basic training to keep up obby skills, discipline, and drill.
Rifle Range: Rifle Range will consist of enhancing marksmanship skills on the firing range, along with practice skirmishes to sharpen leadership skills.
SNCO Course: At the rank of Sergeant, one will be required to go through the SNCO Course, where that person learns how to advise on a senior level, enhanced leadership skills, and work at a senior administrative level. This is required to advance up to Staff Sergeant and higher.
Officer Candidate School: The mission of OCS is to train, screen and evaluate candidates, who must demonstrate a high level of leadership potential and commitment to success in order to earn a commission. Officer Candidates School training will be more demanding than any you've experienced before, regardless of commissioning program.

For hats, you are only allowed to wear Variant 1s or Variant 2s.
We have halted all recruitment, as in we are no longer accepting people into the Marines unless they have a great character, are well disciplined, have good grammar, and are active players.

Buck and Asd can't even follow these rules, what gives them the right to command Marines to follow rules they can't even do? Lead by example, it's a term I will always follow. Only the best of leaders lead by leading by example. If a rule is put in place, that rule should be followed by even the highest of command. I saw nothing in the rule books about hats, and I would continue to wear them if I was still in the UNSC. I have left the group due to a poor commanding staff. Own seems to be the only worthy leader in the Marines. OORAH to the Marine Corps, I will not be fighting along side you anymore.
