[_//:Initiate Rules Sequence:\\_]
[_//:start mainframe.d [_//:running local protocols [_//:initiating welcome sequence I
Good day, soldier.
Spectral’s system protocols have now been upgraded. New promotion systems are now in place, and our training curriculum is ready to go. All systems are up and running well.
With these new running protocols come new regulations. Read the following, as this is law in Spectral.
[_/:ON DUTY | -Wearing a Spectral uniform. -Defending a base/fort. -Attending a training, or other related event. -Representing Spectral out of uniform(forums, chats, games, recruiting, etc).
[_/:OFF DUTY | -Out of uniform(may not always apply). -Not representing Spectral in any way, shape, form, or idea. -At a hangout/game night event.
[_/:Rule I: Grammar. Though our Elite divisions require full grammar, to be in Spectral, you must only use decent grammar. It is requested that you have a good understanding of the English language(Capitalization, some punctuation, etc). If you do not follow this rule, you will not be getting past Ensign. We cannot have soldiers that are incapable of communicating on the battlefield.
[_/:Rule II: Motivation and respect. It is realized that you, as an Ensign, may not be trained in discipline first joining. It is however mandatory that you respect ALL ranks. For example, it would not matter if you are an Ensign and another soldier is also an Ensign or a Scout, you respect all equally. Note that only Admirals+ may conduct a training, and Spectrals may only co-host
This goes both ways. You respect us, we respect you. If you catch a soldier disrespecting somebody higher or lower than him, take a screenshot and report it to an Admiral+
You must also show a level of motivation. Without this, you will not get promoted. Motivation means attending events, learning as much as possible during a training, and taking the initiative as a future-leader. You are the future of Spectral.
[_/:Rule III: Listening, awareness, and communication. This rule is extremely important. It may not seem like it, but you are Spectral’s heartbeat. If you do not communicate with Higher Ranks, nothing can be changed or fixed. Be sure to communicate with your higher ranks.
On the battlefield, you must be listening and aware. This was covered in Rule I with Grammar, but you must be paying attention as well. Let me stress that again.
You must always be paying attention on duty. You must always be paying attention on duty. You must always be paying attention on duty.
This is important, and if you do not pay attention, you can lose experience points.
In training, you will learn that attention to detail is a big part of our system in Spectral. During raids, this is especially important. Attention to detail is a factor that can separate victory from loss.
[_/:Final Notes These are our basic rules. You are REQUIRED to follow them when listed.
Failure to follow rules |
1st time=Warning 2nd Time=Punishment 3rd time=Experience point loss 4th time=Experience point loss, Lose one Prestige 5th time=Experience point loss, Demotion 6th time=Exile.
Promotion System:
You are given experience points during a training, raids, and while we recruit. Exp goes into Prestige which is what you need to get a promotion. Each Prestige contains 30 exp. Ex. Soldier requires 2 Prestige, so you would need a total of 60 exp to become a Soldier.
0 exp: Barely understood concept, and/or performed poorly, and/or did not perform to comrades standards, came late. 1 exp: Attended on time and showed understanding of concept and/or performed somewhat well. 3 exp: Attended on time and understood the concept on average and/or performed on average. 5 exp: Attended on time and understood the concept perfectly and performed very well the entire training, shown great improvement.
If you show rude behavior or attitude to any member during an event and must be warned more than once, you can gain no more than 1 exp. Few people will get exp during an event. 5 exp is only given to one person and sometimes not every event.
[_/:Promotion Guide and Rank Description
-Low ranks: Low ranks must read this handbook and understand it. Ensigns are expected to know this as soon as possible. As you move up in Spectral, this handbook will be your guide to becoming a leader. You must know ranks are earned as is respect from high ranks and your comrades.
[LR] Soldier: 2 Prestige is required
[LR] Scout: 4 Prestige is required
[LR] Specialist: 6 Prestige is required
[LR] Sentinel: 8 Prestige is required
-Mid ranks: Mid ranks are to master what was just covered and will focus in this section on mainly combat and leadership as they near high ranks. You will be drilled with discipline and commands to be prepared for anything. You will learn you have to work hard to achieve greatness.
[MR] Major: 10 Prestige is required
[MR] Trinitive: 13 Prestige is required
[MR] Vanguard: 16 Prestige is required
[MR] Venator: 20 Prestige is required
-Admiral in Training: Admirals in training are the future high ranks. Once you have understood how the high ranks operate and what you must do to train the future members of Spectral, you train here. Where you are assigned a mentor who you will co-host with to understand how you act. Once high ranks are filled, AiT's will be used to control large groups of soldiers.
[AiT] Spectral: 25 Prestige is required
-High ranks: High ranks are the leaders of Spectral. You will try and stay with Spectral as long as you can and to lead the members who work so hard and proudly during events. You are the voice of Spectral and will use this power with responsibility understanding the High Rank Rules.
[HR] Admiral: Admirals are picked from AiT's and are trained to host a training and train AiT's.
[HR] Rear Admiral: Rear admirals are to host a training and raids and maintain relations with all members.
[HR] Imperial Admiral: Imperial admirals are the highest command under our leader. This rank consists of the Fleet Admiral's most trusted high ranks who are able to run Spectral if the Fleet Admiral is unavailable.
[_/:High Rank Rules
High ranks are to follow what their description says they are to do. If a high rank does not perform his or her duties or becomes inactive, they will be demoted to an AiT and will be replaced. There is no exception here and no ranks will be returned. High ranks must follow the basic rules of Spectral and must always use grammar. Failure to do so will result in a demotion to AiT where you will be replaced.
