beats only cost more because they are celebrity endorsed sol republics hd's are cheaper sound is crystal clear (not muddy like beats) lightweight unbreakable by accidents can also be used as portable speakers and a lot more reasons

The duration of sound quality is what concerns me
I can go buy a 6$ pair of skull candy earbuds that sound better than beats
But they only sound that good for a week or two
It diminishes over time |

Skullcandy I think is a great brand for audio hardware. I use a pair of Ink'd and their SLYR gaming headset..and they still sound just as good as when I first purchased them.
But, if you want a more "popular" headphone, but doesn't cost a billion dollars, then go for the Monster DNA headphones, those are also pretty good. |

| Well, if you want bass...I would recommend the Skullcandy Crushers...they are made pretty much just for bass. |
