A rare classic hat: Owners: "Don't go on sale! It's so rare!" People without it: "Omg go on sale!" Then, when it goes on sale, its value has been ruined. And they don't care, they just wear it. The worst part is they call us "greedy" and "selfish" for not wanting it to go on sale. The owners just want the hats rarity to stay that way. *cough cough silverthorn antlers*

| And the owners call the others idiots for wanting a hat. |

Who cares about rare pixel species?
There is one thing important in the world. And that is bacon. |

| Yeah, sometimes. I want the Pinstripe Fedora to stay offsale and rare, but of course so many people are going "omg put on sale". |

Personally, I consider a hat ruined if there are barely any owners that are active, and no one can enjoy the hat. Sort of like W's before Bright Friday. It wasn't common to see that hat in games, but after the sale, now people can enjoy it.
However, if an off-sale items goes limited, then it could possibly be ruined. |
