Humanity.
If humans weren't all full of greed and hate, communism would be a great governmental system. But, we never change. We'll always fight, thus preventing communism from being properly enforced.
I do dislike how people say communism is a horrible governmental system, but I agree with people who say it'll never work. |

| This is A FLAW of communism, but not the only one. Communism decreases an individuals personal responsibility to work and creates no incentive for skills to be acquired by the populace. Governments job is not to help people, but to help people help themselves, and communism does not do that and therefore IS a flawed and impractical governing and economic system. |

| Communism is a horrible government system. Everyone being economically equal sounds like hell for me. I would be bored because there is nothing special to do since every single person owns everything. |

Agreed with OP. The only reason why Communism doesn't work is because of humans, ourselves. We need to learn how to be morally good, and then Communism will be perfect. |

I think Communism has a lot of flaws and really it is not a nice system. A system whereby work ethic is not proportional to income, where no matter how hard you work it is only for the good of society and not for personal gain - people who you don't care about and probably mutually. Communism could probably work, I don't think there is anything evidence to suggest we are born with greed and I would definitely say most people who use that statement definitely aren't qualified to say if humans are born with greed. Actually many sociologists argue that only comes as a result of a functionalist norms such as competitiveness. But this does not mean I want a Communist society, so pretty much the opposite of this thread, possible? maybe, preferable? no.
I believe in a society where work ethic should be proportional to income, so obviously unregulated Capitalism is also a system I disagree with. There should be no billionaires who earn off of the hard work of others, in the same way there should be no people who intentionally live off of benefits without good reason to do so. |

The fact you are referring to communism as a "system of government" shows you don't know anything about communism.
If you knee anything about communism, you would know that communism is the final stage of society that is >STATEless<, classless, and moneyless |

Marxism = Brilliant, but might not work in large lands (countries, states, etc) Marxism-Leninism = Easily corrupt. Stalinism = No. |

Think about it, Marxism is stateless. A country that's stateless would result in chaos eventually. But in a small town, people would agree with it, as they know that a small piece of land that has no ruler will bring peace. |

| superluigi is right at least in reference to Marxism. Communist as described in the communist manifesto is on the belief of no government and rather a stage of humanity. most modern practical variations though require state control. |
