I was just wearing a t-shirt with a light jacket on top of it and cargo shorts and it was 34 degrees the whole day today...
It's actually not bad... |

Probably a combined 30 minutes or so, but still.
Any average Texan, even if out for a combined 30 minutes, would stuff themselves up with winter clothing. |

| In fact, one of my assistant principals at my middle school was so barbaric last year he actually threatened to give me a referral for not wearing a jacket in 45-50 degree weather. |

Okay I probably wouldn't last in Minnesota cold without bundling up so much, but here in Texas it's barely even cold |

My elementary school used to not let us go outside for recess if we didn't have a jacket in that weather. They're doing their job, they don't need angry parents trying to sue them because you think you're a badass and don't want to cover up |

@ddude yeah, comparing indy to texas weather fairly excellent comparison right there
@rune it's not the school's responsibility and the parents who sue the school would look awful and should be embarrassed in a court of law if the judge doesn't throw out the case before it even starts |

It is in fact the school's responsibility by law. And a case like this probably wouldn't even reach the desk of a judge. A settlement would probably be reached long before. |

Yeah, I can too, even if it was for a long time.
I just didn't need to be out today for long periods of time, that's why I was not even out for a combined hour. |
