I'm creating a big game with lots of stuff. A city... to be specific. Nothing too ambitious.
This used to be a issue I had in 2009, I'm still wondering if it still is. :/

| About 5000 parts? By the way, scripts and GUIs lag as well. |

I only start lagging on 100k parts,seriously. http://www.roblox.com/Redvia-Transit-MRT-Metropolitan-Line-Simulator-place?id=66586212 That game has 100k parts. |

Scripts lag more than parts. ROBLOX has done a lot of optimizing their engine.
I'd say if you have scripts and parts, you want about a maximum of 15k parts. Just so that your game is playable on lower-end computers. |
