INTRO// As you know most bases are dull and boring. Clan A and Clan B rush Point C. It gets very dull because there is no real variety when raiding. I decided to work with my Brothers Tamuramu and SillyIego to try and up bar on the standard clan base. Instead of created an Outpost we created a Galaxy Sector. A new idea we hope you guys will love and enjoy. This is only talking about basic features that are planned or still in devolopement.
ABOUT// The Galaxy Sector is a sector of the galaxy controlled by The Sovereign Unity. Raiders/Defenders will join the game and the game will chose a random Outpost from the map. Once a random outpost is chosen the game will randomly generate the environment making it winter, summer or fall depending on the Outpost location. Once that is all done, the server will stay the same until it is shut down. This means every time you join a new server you’ll get a brand new experience each time.
CLASSES// I wanted to make sure raiding was more about teamwork than individual skill. To do this we thought a class system would be better than anything else. Each class will have its own set of weapons, perks and skills to help support its team. We have taken the time to make sure all the classes were balanced and that none was better than the other.
Assault: The Assault class was the first created. We wanted to make it an all role class. Where you can play the field how you wanted. The assault will use Assault Rifles, LMGs and Explosive weapons. This will make them the main fighting class in the game.
Recon: Recon was the next class created. Some players were not good with up in your face combat so we created the recon class. The recon is more of a sneak behind the lines and fight from afard kind of class. They use Sniper Rifles and SMGs making them more of a class that can lone wolf or fight behind the Assaults and Medics.
Medics: Medics were the last class we created. Some players just like supporting their team without having to worry about doing a lot of fighting. We created a medic class that can heal their teammates and keep them in the fight longer.
SKILLS// We did not want to have just classes, those got kind of boring. We had to find a way to make sure the game play did not get dull. We decided to create a Skill system. Each class will have its unique skill that can be used to help them in the battlefield. Each skill only affects the user and there are no skills that support teammates. Each skill used will take up a bit of energy that recharges over time.
Maximum Armor: Maximum Armor was the first idea we came up with. We wanted to give Assaults a little edge when it comes to face to face combat. Maximum Armor we activated makes the player glow a bright orange. They also take less damage when being shot. This will not make them over powered because they can easily tank a lone Recon or Medic but not a squad of players. Shooting a player while they have maximum Armor depletes their energy faster.
Cloaking: Cloaking is the second idea we came up with. We wanted recons to feel like recons. Cloaking allows the player to become invisible, only slightly visible. If you’re in the middle of a fire fight there is a good chance a recon will past you by without you noticing. To make sure this was more of a support power. Recons lose their cloaks and their energy depletes to 0 if they are shot or if they shoot while cloaked.
Nano Fibers: Nano Fibers is the last skill we came up with. We noticed being a medic is hard. When you’re healing you’re probably thinking who is going to heal you. We have created the Nano Fiber skill, a skill that allows Medics to regain up to about 75% of their health from one compete energy bar. Medics slow down and glow green when their skill is activated. If they are shot they stop healing and their energy depletes.
XP SYSTEM// Most groups we have come across had an XP system. They were mostly; kill this guy and get 100 XP. Then you realize that XP are just kills with the letters XP behind it. There is only two groups who I have seen use an XP system right, WIJ and RAT. So we decided to take WIJ’s approach. You can Earn XP for doing a lot of things. Capturing objectives, Getting kill chains and kill streaks, getting XP for assisting a kill or maybe just get XP for avenging a fallen teammate. We wanted to reward players as much as we could.
LEVEL UP SYSTEM// Players will also be able to Level up in game. Leveling up will allow you to unlock more weapons at the Armory which you can use to fight your enemies. We did not want to Just award player’s guns. We also have dogtags. Dogtags are emblems you unlock for raiding or defending. Each dogtag is different giving you a unique feel when fighting on the battlefield.

| The Outpost may be done by next month or so. Most of it is just bug fixes and game tweaks. |

This is amazing. One suggestion, make the level's system reset every server. Maybe there could be a way to see the highest level you've obtained but it's never very fun to raid a group of people who train at their base and keep leveling. Raiders will be level 1 vs level 100's |

Vyzen,
SillyIego, Tamuramu and I have thought this through. When released the level cap will be 30. Everytime we release a new Outpost with new guns we raise the level cap. The max level we're going for is 80 which cannot be pasted in anyway unless you're me cause I am level 81 |
