The new price floors are 20 robux, and 100 tix. There was a time, where we could set our own prices. Funny. In a Blog one day, they said they where afraid of people getting a bad image of roblox. (In regards to ROBLOX Users making their own faces) Well, ROBLOX has done that to both new, and older users. They already make tons of money off of their BC buyers. There's an add on my page right now, with a guy wearing an outfit, worth over 500 robux. You say, how's this possible with the new price floors? It's not. Not for NBCers. It's like they want NBCers to quit.

They reduced the prices by 70%.

I see this price floor reduction as a Band-Aid for a something that needs a compression bandage and tourniquet. Sure, it's a welcome change after the Charlie-foxtrot that was the 25/300 price setting, but after renewing BC, and setting my popular items on sale, I've only made two sales in two with the new 10/100 floor. This is in comparison to a few months ago, where I averaged roughly 30-40 per day, at prices ranging between 3-7Tx. It hurts, especially when the convenience of a credit card/auto renewing account isn't an option, and when at 100tx, Roblox takes 30% away, not giving the full value of the item to the creator.

I'm uncomfortable selling my gear at 100, but I'm only doing it because I need some form of external income to fund projects for a group I am running (Weapon sounds, equipment functions, etc.) So far, it's not as well as I'd hoped.

A7, I assume that you derive income from visits to places and regular R$ purchases, and that sales of items weren't your priority. You weren't going to be hurt that hard anyway, whereas it hurts me and people like me to the point of a sales flat line.

There are only a few options I see that are viable to rectify these problems:
1) Roblox lowers the prices for BC membership and/or Robux purchases accordingly, to allow easier access to features. I'd be more inclined to purchase said things if they were more accessible, as I'd feel I would be getting my money's worth.
2) Roblox lowers the price floor, or drops it completely, in order to pick up revenue and such. A lot of people I know cancelled their memberships over this whole mess, and are more than willing to renew it if/when the floors are dropped or lowered to reasonable levels.
3) Roblox raises the login reward and place visit stipends (15-20Tx and 2-3Tx respectively), to give more base income to those who struggle to generate income on their own. It'll allow newer users to get on their feet faster, and incite more people to create better places. If I knew I'd get 2-3Tx per visit, instead of 1Tx, I'd be more motivated at making better places.
4) Special allowances are made for group item sales. No individual is getting the funds from the sale, so it makes no sense to have the floor apply to groups.

In the original 300Tx increase, they said that the prices were based off of the exchange rate at that time. Newsflash, the exchange never stays the same. Sure, it was 10Tx for 1R$ that day, but today, I exchanged 70Tx and only got 5$. That brings option 5:
5) Introduce a stable exchange rate, instead of something that varies every few hours. I've made more losses than gains on the exchange, and it wouldn't kill to have more stability.

If you are going to say "your wrong and a fgt who wants more monie", don't. If you are going to criticise, pick apart something in a well formed argument. I listen to intelligent replies, replies that might point out holes in my ideas. Any issues or comments on this and you want me to read it, feel free to message me privately. Just as long as it isn't poorly written or presented.

Have a nice day.

Blaze

Double can't seem to do maths.
300 tix to 100 tix is 66%, not 70%.

And support. They still need to be lowered.

So, let's talk more on the Price Floors. Why are they doing this? Why did they bring up the Developer Exchange? I have both answers.

Now, ROBLOX is, as we know it, rich. And, like any other company, trying to make money. They kinda brain wash you, or in better sense, Manipulate you, into thinking your money is well spent. But, as it turns out, you work for them in a way. ROBLOX gets sponsors, gets them to sell their cards, and we buy them. $10 per 1 card (Minimum) Very expensive. Anyway, it ONLY gets you 1000 robux; but, why are they doing this? It almost seems like a scam. ROBLOX wants money. Now, let's talk about the Developer Exchange; ROBLOX has tons of money. They make money, and with the Developer Exchange, like I said before, you work for them in a sense, you buy their cards, you spend money in ROBLOX. Like if you worked at a place, and you bought food from there 24/7. (Or at at least how often you buy a card) So yeah, I'm not saying not to do business with ROBLOX, it's just that I feel as if ROBLOX just is here for kid's money. Because we're easy to manipulate.

@doubleA7

I'm sick of your "70% drop" argument. This doesn't prove why it's fair for this to happen.

I'm a former shirt seller/Jersey maker. I made jerseys for large groups of people or just put random ones out there for public consumption. I made roughly 65-85 tickets a day with shirts and jerseys that were on sale for 2 tickets. Judging from this, I don't even want to buy builders club any more. It won't help me because no one will buy my jerseys if they are 10 robux or 100 tickets.

"70% Drop"

More like give NBCers more tickets a day.

This doesn't even help the economy, it's going to single handedly cause mass inflation making the ticket weaker than it already is.

I have not been affected by this really I mean I make steady tix (Which I convert to Robux through TCing) by collecting daily login and the small place revenue I get.

It can't be removed it was a MAJOR update so really they can only lower it. and lets face it a good price would be 50 tix 5 days for a NBC to get a shirt and 3 shirts or pants a day for BC that would be the best price not to low not to high.

I'll settle for a 50 tix price floor MAX. Anything beyond that just isn't reasonable for NBC players. I'm not going to wait a week and a half for a shirt, then another week and a half for the matching pants.

Well slushierbroom32, they do own ROBLOX. But, what would they do, if they had no players. What would they do, if everyone stopped playing, paying for BC, what would they do? They would not be able to pay for their servers. Now, how do they pay for these servers? With the money you pay, for BC. You may say, "Stupid idiot, Servers are free :L" Well, you're wrong. Did you ever ask you dad how much it is to pay for internet? The internet, to access it, is NOT cheep. And server machines keep servers running, but they have to pay for it, with that BC money, as previously stated. And if you didn't see my last comment, we all kinda work at ROBLOX, and without our help (We're helping by paying for it) ROBLOX would be bankrupt.
