Lets say somebody makes a huge game with tons of detail and it is very hard to run on other player's computer. So to fix this problem the game developer assigns every brick different "rendering quality level"(basically how high the video quality has to be until the part is shown). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- How this is done:
Inside the properties of a part, there will be a option called "RenderingQualityLevel" and the default number level will be 1. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mechanics:
If the number is higher than one, then the part's parent will become nil. The part's parent will become Workspace(a specific parent can be set only via script) if the video quality is the set number or higher.
So if I made a part and set the RenderingQualityLevel to 5, then the part will not exist unless the video quality is 5 or higher. -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I have not thought of this idea all the way through but share your ideas about it below. |
