Parental Control gives a users parents or guardians the ability to control what of ROBLOX a child user can go to. Creators of Games, Clothing, etc now must set the level of content (younger than 13 OR 13-18) of what their creation is, while they upload the item, so therefore the mods can also check to make sure it is in the correct content level. Games must have the creator check off what kind of content it is, since mods don't check games. If the creator decides they want to change the content level down, but the game is inappropriate for that content level, users can report the game to have it's content level raised. Creations such as shirts, pants, etc uploaded to ROBLOX previous to the Parental Control will be marked as 13-18, then the creator can decide to go back and mark it appropriately, if needed, and it will be sent to mods for review again.
Parents can go to the Account page of their child's account and set up a special keyword and settings that only the parent can change, first using that keyword to access the settings. The settings give the parent full control of the content levels they let their children see, and even allow the parent only to change the user's age level. Children cannot access the parental settings, unless they somehow obtain the Parental keyword.
Within parental settings, there should be a "Master View" button, which switches to an easy to understand Outlined list of the child's full history on ROBLOX, and allows the Parent to block the child from accessing any games that were previously visited or block certain users the child has recieved messages from, even remove items the child has purchased in the catalog.
Group creators must also mark the content level.
Forums should always be marked 13-18. Parents can even control whether their child is allowed to access forums or not.
Remember, this is optional. Not every user has to have set Parental Controls. Parental Controls are only implemented on an account when the Parent logs their special keyword into the Parental Controls box on the Account page. Users not logged with Parental Controls can access ROBLOX normally, as we do to this day. |

| I would support. If you have parents who do tell you to stay off of certain things, you should maybe listen to them. My parents do that all the time. |

How come ROBLOX never gets any of the important vital features that most online games have? They are so late with software technology.
Anyways, I support! |

| Kids can act as parents all they want with my system, the only deduction is the only thing the "poser" can control is their own settings. |

BOOooOooOOOoo. Heh, support. Though, instead of the 13-18 ordeal, how about said parent gets an e-mail to give their kid permission to forum? |

| I could've worded that better perhaps. Parents can ontrol the Forum restriction for the account, no matter the fact the content is 13-18. |

| I think it is a bad idea because any child could make a parental account, and even if it was single account only, the child could still make it if a parent was too busy to make a parental account, OR they could make an alternate account to view whatever they wanted. |

There is no such thing as Parental accounts, just Parental control over the account. As for alt accounts, the parent should really just be making sure the kid is doing as they are supposed to under their parents rule. It's not hard, just keep an eye on your kid when they're online. The web isn't a safe place, parents should be very alert to what their kid is accessing. |

Yes, yes, and yes. I love it.
Kids are greatly maniupulated by the Internet. And THIS, my boy, is perfect. But there's some flaws.
Some kid's parents don't even know what ROBLOX is and they're not paying attention to what they're playing.
Still, this can supress the dangers a child may come upon, like curse words, innapropiate content. Yes. |

There shouldn't be any "content levels" or specific age group for places. If Roblox adds this silly feature where you can set the 'age level' of something we'll be seeing many inappropriate content, since there's a "13-18" age level. All content should be appropriate for all ages. There is no good reason to even try taking off this restriction or adding some stupid thirteen plus features.
Also, I see it as a huge invasion of the child's privacy if a parent can see every single game they've visited. It doesn't seem morally right for a parent to spy on their children just to to put restrictions on a game they enjoy playing. |

It's the parent's desicion.
As for content levels, that's why we have report features, so we can report inappropriate games. The most I've seen inappropriate to kids under 13 anyway is blood. Blood is gonna be the main reason of 13+ content, not anything profane. |

Blood shouldn't even be considered 13+ in my honest opinion.
These "content levels" are just a bad idea overall. You claim we can report inappropriate games, yet you want to be able to make inappropriate games and label them 13-18.
Honestly I think this feature would be useless for a game aimed at kids. Roblox manages to keep the content at an appropriate level. Nothing inappropriate will stay up that long. |
