It has it's pros and cons, I didn't like a lot of it though, but that's my opinion.

| It's fine. The only difference between the two are graphical differences and framerate differences |

ac3 was great.
it had no flaws in my opinion, but "old school" ac players seemed to hate on it when in my opinion the game was better than previous ezio games like brotherhood. |

Coming from somebody who wasnt a hardcore ac fan it still wasn't good.
The game is short as crap and they promised such cool stuff that wasn't even in the game (ESPECIALLY that JOKE of a battlefield war zone fight as promised in the trailer)
The game was quite boring at most times. There was NOTHING to do other than the main story line unless you already beat that.
I hope that ac4 gives us much more to do other than the main story (Also giving a storyline thats alot longer) |

It's a game about ASSASSINS...
...That has you play as a PIRATE...
For that reason alone I'd say ignore it. |

AC4 is good, but a little short. It really expanded on the naval combat from AC3. Like now, you have mortar on your ship, the Jackdaw. They don't have heat shot from AC3, they have Heavy shot. They have fire barrels too now, which are like mines.
As for cities and locations, three major cities, and a bunch of smaller cities on islands.
Underwater dive spots are cool too.
They have harpooning as well as regular land hunting in it, which both are fun.
The modern day portion of the game is also really good. It provides a lot of backstory into Assassins Creed, like what happened immediately after the end of AC3, and little bits of information about both Abstergo, the Templars, and the Assassins.
Its a decent game in my opinion, but the storyline is short though, thats the major downside to it if you ask me. |
