Welcome: It was just some mediocre electronic intro, with some god awful breakdown thing towards the end.
Dear Insanity: Okay so his screams sounds like he is spraining his throat half the time, but his really high screams are honestly pretty good, Danny also as the most British singing voice ever, but back to the track, yeah its pretty boring, breakdowns are boring, chorus is boring, it is really bad
Closure: awful electronic intro, than of course, breakdown, his growls are p. good I guess, I really can't trash the riff, its pretty good, but again, its just boring, when I starts screaming, it was kind of cool, a whole lot of chugging, forgot to mention the essential chugging of Asking Alexandria, awkward electronic thing out of nowhere, it isn't that bad, just boring.
A Lesson Never Learned: Wow the ammount of chugging in this album would bring Emmure to shame, this song just sounds really weird, its hard to describe but this whole song is weird, just doesn't seem to conncet, plus an honestly boring acousticy piano part, chorus is really bad
To the Stage: Well, if they didn't sound edgy before, the certainly do when the decide to add the f bomb everywhere, also breakdowns, and boring sung choruses.
Dedication: I don't understand why this is here, its like some weird spoken word thing over an electronic instrumental, hey! No breakdown!
Someone, Somewhere: Now I actually enjoy this song, breaks free of the chug chug breakdown pattern, again the chorus gets boring, but I can tell its definately heartfelt, also, cool riffs, yet the manage to throw chugs in... come on now guys, first guitar solo on album, short but hey, it was cool, sounded like it was lifted from an Aerosmith song, but still decent
Breathless: Oh, what a downgrade from the last song, start off with some hxc chugging, Danny has some nice growls I must say, and then theres that pretty boring sung chorus, also longest song on album so far, marking in at a whole 4 minutes and 10 seconds, and they really step it up with the next song, adding in another five seconds, not that I'm complaing about the short length, less I have to be bored out of my mind the better
The Match: Starts out with a cool riff, tbh Metalcore riffs are usually cool, oh hey a breakdown, unecessary group shout in their, did I mention the chugging? Always remember if you want to make a big name metalcore band, drop the f bomb at every chance, also really award electronic part, reminds me of another song but I can't think of the name.
Another Bottle Down: Oh cool riff towards the beginning, got lost in the breakdown though, and I thing this is the first really boring sung chorus in a few songs, why is it that when growls are edited to make some sound effect thing it sounds bad, oh and of course the end needed a breakdown, wouldn't want the song to be incomplete
Reckless & Relentless: The title track, lets talk about this intro... "Music is [CENSORED]ing dead!" not really "Thanks to you [NAUGHTYWORD]s," edgy "stabbing it in the [THEEDGE]ing chest You, and all these fake, righteous, undeserving bands [BADWORD] you!" kinda like what everyone thinks you guys are doing, come on now Danny, and Danny, you aren't rock and roll, the chorus is a lot better than the others, honestly, most of my complaint for this song is the lyrics, edgy, and the bands hes talking about are basically himself, he also said he'll spend two years kickstarting the good old days of rock and roll, well those two years passed April 5th of this year, and he lied.
Morte et Dabo: Last song and the longest.. interestingish intro, then it packs a good punch when he comes in screaming with a cool riff backing it, then a breakdown, then back to the screaming, which sounds fairly good, but of course, a boring chorus comes in, because we wouldn't the song to get exciting, oh another breakdown btw, and I don't know what was going on when Danny started editing his voice in audacity to make it sound like a broken record, it only got odder and went downhill from there though, interesting outro
Anyways I give it a 5 out of 10, it was boring, but it was okay, anyways, fun fact, the album had different bonus tracks, Best Buy bonus tracks and Hot Topic bonus tracks. |

Reckless & Relentless may be their single worst album i mean everything they put out after Stand Up And Scream was very hit-or-miss but this one may have less worthwhile songs than From Death To Destiny
