If you liked Django, then you should check out Inglorious Bast e rds. It's another one of Tarantino's works which take place during Na zi Germany. Lots of history and action. I'm sure you'll like it. |

| Tarantino's been using the same formula lately. Revenge films are good, but I hope he tries something new next time. |

Yeah DJango was freaking great, so tarantino from story to action and finally ending in a Tarantino styled blood-filled vengeance from head to toe in this film.
My only question was: why didn't Stephen (Samuel L. Jackson's character) show more compassion to his fellow negro slaves and housemaids? Yes, I know he served 3 generations of Candie's in Candieland and must of become attached to submit to white authority over all those years but still... Why would he be oblivious to the condition of his fellow slaves? Im pretty sure he's seen numerous bouts of despicable violence inflicted upon fellow slaves toiling in Candieland but seems so cynical toward the flirting between Django and Bom Hilda, it just suggests he's a cold hearted cynic who enjoys conforming to which supremacy. What do you guys think of this? |
