| Actually if you starve yourself, your body automatically goes into a reserve emergency state actually storing more fat and calories for you to survive. Thus, you gain more weight at first. Once that happens, you deprive yourself more, the body no longer has carbohydrates (sugar)to convert into ATP (adenosene tri-phosphate) which in short is like a fuel that runs your car. ATP is required for breathing contracting muscles and a lot of functions in your body. |
