Here's how it goes:
Bob works at a scripting company. Bob's boss needs 10 scripts. Bob's boss knows that Bob is a lazy programmer and he does not want Bob to slack off. So, Bob's boss tells him that he must make script 1 in exactly an hour. Then once he is done, he must finish 2 in another hour. He also adds that once Bob finishes 2, he must do the same for 3. Bob's boss tells him to continue this until he finishes all 10 scripts.
How many hours in total would it take Bob to finish all his scripts on time?
First person to guess it right gets 200 R$. (: |

10 scripts.
1st hour, one script. (1) 2nd hour, two scripts. (3) 3rd hour, three scripts (6) 4th hour, four scripts (10)
10 scripts would take him for hours.

| Well, assuming he is finishing Script #1, Script #2, Script #3 and so on, it would take him 10 hours, an hour per script. |

"script 1 in exactly an hour. Then once he is done, he must finish 2" He said script 1, not 1 script. I figure this might be where the trick is, but I could be completely wrong. |

I'd say more than 4 hours.
1st script = 1 hour 2 + 3rd script = 2 hours 4 + 5th script = 3 hours 6 + 7th script = 4 hours 8 + 9th script = 5 hours 10th script = 6 hours.
It's just "repeat the next steps as with 2 and 3" - but does that mean increasing the amount of scripts needed to make?
Well, good luck. CHATBUBBLEZH! - As |

"he must finish 2"
Does this mean he has to finish script 2 in the next hour, or two scripts? |

SEE THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU MAKE PROGRAMMERS DO RIDDLES
quickly; a programmer's friend tells him to go to the market to buy eggs and/or butter. his friend says 'buy 1 pack of butter, and if they have eggs, buy a dozen'
what should the programmer be prepared to buy? |

| I would just go and blow some money in some other section of the store. Like getting Safeway's sub sandwich or precooked chicken for insta-lunch/dinner/snack. o3o |

'must make script 1 in exactly an hour' Never because he didn`t specify, an hour from when? 'he must finish 2 in another hour' Yeah, After he takes a two month break he will finish it in an hour |

Nowhere in the riddle is said that Bob does not do his work - And most of us assume that he complete his task, as otherwise he'd most likely get fired.
- As, in Soviet Russia, you don't use commas... commas use YOU! Oh... wrong thread? |

He would do them all in the first 0th of a second.
Then spend the rest of his time listening to keyboard cat. |

@Radio
You pretty much just described every day for me in my Program C++/Java class where we've only used PBasic with the Boe-Bot so far... |
