| Two parents went for a night out for the weekend. They left their two children with a babysitter while they were out. The babysitter put the children to sleep and watched TV downstairs for the rest of the time. The home phone began to ring and the babysitter picked it up. When she answered, the voice on the speaker just laughed for one minute before the babysitter hung up. She called the police but they said there was nothing they could do about prank calls, but they could track the address where the caller was coming from. When the phone rang again a few minutes later, she picked it up and an eerie, male voice said, "Have you checked on the children yet?" and continued to laugh. The babysitter called the police again and they told her to immediately leave the house. The phone calls were coming from the extension upstairs in the children's bedroom, where the man had already murdered the children. |
