Hayek/Pepper, out of curiosity, why do you like him? He seems a bit moderate for you.
Also, sadly, the Democrats won Virginia |

I do identify myself as a tea partyer, meaning I do agree with much of the philosophy, but there is a great number of things that are not politically possible, at least not at the moment. Chris Christie is a republican that can appeal to voters on both sides of the isle. He can win two gubernatorial elections in a very blue state. He knows what's possible to get done and he knows how to compromise.

Yes, he's a very good politician! But, in my honest opinion, I do not see him being a very good president. I don't think his diplomatic skills are well enough.
Also, he is against gey marriage. When there was a vote, the state and him were in a heated argument over the whole situation. It was a game of political tag - you pass this, and I veto it. You veto it, we go against you. It's childish, really. He needs to go with what the people of New Jersey want, not stick to his opinions on something and make the whole state suffer. He said he will continue to fight this battle to disallow same gender marriage. That's not presidential material. |

| Sticking to his opinions is what got him reelected. |
